TopicAm I an idiot for helping this person get a job that could mean I don't get one?

It's not moral to lie - that's the simple part of your question. You can always sacrifice your integrity to get yourself ahead - but that usually ends very badly. You can always lie, cheat, and steal - that doesn't make it a good decision.

If the person is looking for a job and you think they'd be a good fit - let both that person and the hiring manager know. It's not a secret that a graduating intern is considering a full time position. You don't know that by the time you graduate there won't be a better fit or that the hiring manager will open another spot for you anyway.

Also, may is gone - is this 1 year in the future? If so, this is way too early for any employer to consider a candidate - even one they've invested in via internships so you gain nothing by trying to hide anything - the jobs open now are almost guaranteed not to be there in 1 year.

Zelda isn't an RPG.

Zelda should be classified as an ARPG as it's a real time combat system with a mission system and RPG elements. An ARPG IS an RPG.

Fallout 3 is technically an RPS...which is also under the broader umbrella of RPG.

RPG != only Final Fantasy.
TopicWhy is it so damn complicated to set up a doctors appointment nowadays

If you have found the number of a doctor on your insurance company's website, why are you not just scheduling with the doctor's office? They can pre-run your insurance if you're curious (shouldn't be necessary if you found that the provider is part of your insurance network) and they'll tell you whatever your appointment is for if it's covered or not.

I'm not seeing the complexity - since when has insurance helped (or in your case not helped) schedule appointments?

If this is in regard to MaxPass, this is great for a lot of reasons, but has drawbacks. On the plus, for the best rides (like Racers in California Adventure), you no longer have to wait 20-30 minutes JUST for the fast pass that "sells out" in an hour of opening. Walk through the gate, boop, you've got the pass. And you don't have to cross the whole park if you want to string hyperspace mountain into splash mountain. Also, being able to get California Adventure passes WHILE in Disneyland is amazingly great. Too often families had to split in order to optimize paper passes - good to stay more together.

On the other hand (besides the added cost), the lack of paper limits flexibility - especially for people who have lots of kids because it'd be assumed that you'd use one phone for your party, so phone person needs to go on every ride since where they take the fast passes is rarely right by the start of the line entrance.

If you are shopping at Gamestop you are likely unattractive. Do her a favor and don't ask.

In other news, who still shops at brick and mortar?

I think most people will assume the last one, so they'll pick "the last one" which happens to be the third one. So I selected "the third one" which is the first one.
