I feel you bro, not super tall at 6'1" but my arms are abnormally long (6'6" wingspan w/ average shoulder width)

See a tailor. The fact that you lift weights and have clothes that fit will put you well in the top quintile of men, easy.

Yes. I contribute just enough to get the maximum match from my employer. No Roth IRA, but most of my after-tax income goes immediately into stocks.

not entirely sure it's none, but it might as well be

can't do much on work days (work four days a week, ten to 12 intense hours), need to be more disciplined about it on my off days

will further admit that one of the books I intend to read this year is "the official prequel to" Alien: Covenant

TopicWhy did you stop using AOL?

we switched to a local ISP in late 1998, I suppose mainly because the AOL application was relatively demanding compared to just a web browser, and AIM obviated the need to use AOL for chatting with friends and family. stopped using AIM in the late 2000s because I had become a recluse. would gladly use it now, though, if anyone else still did. I miss my AIM and ICQ contacts.

TopicMoana only earned 637 million?
rivers

I loved that movie but ya people are white and racist.

Why would it?

1) It's a brown girl

2) It's a fat dude

Plenty of reasons for certain undesirables to dislike it

According to Box Office Mojo, Frozen made over six times as much money ($249 million) in Japan as Moana did there. In the US, Frozen only made 60% more.

In Colombia, Peru and Venezuela, Frozen took in about twice as much as Moana. Brazil very slightly favored Moana, earning about 5% more. The inflation in Brazil during the period between the two movies was close to a quarter, though; it's likely that Moana earned fewer admissions even there.

One of the few parts of the world where Moana attracted more viewers is the Philippines, where it earned about 50% more than Frozen.

Relative to Frozen and Zootopia, Moana did a lot better in the United States than it did in countries that are a lot less white, so there must be some other explanation than white people's racial film preferences for its lower overall performance.

Sorry to hear that you're feeling this way and that your father is sick.

I don't know, but I'd like to offer the following:

A big development for me lately is the use of a bright light lamp (a 10,000 lux Carex model) in the morning. It and blue blocking, which I began doing a few years ago with f.lux and orange safety glasses, have enabled me to maintain a normal sleep schedule, and more importantly to get restful sleep. I'm currently on a career track in an occupation where I supervise anywhere from 10 to 50 people, which I could not have foreseen during the long stretch of time when I was under- or unemployed and in search of any kind of relief. The effect of timed bright light exposure on my sleep (feeling tired at night, waking up on my own 7-8 hours later) is reminiscent of what I went through, and what made me fanatical at the time, when I went through an unsustainable raw vegan kick in 2008 and 2009. I believe that those acute episodes of semi-starvation that I experienced back then exerted temporary changes in sleep architecture that are similar to those that are produced in a more lasting fashion by my use of the light box.

I'll continue to work out, maintain low body fat, eat well, and so on, but for me, this light thing has had a more immediate and noticeable effect on my perceived health and my daily life than any of that. Maybe you can get something from it, too.
