Don't even bother trying, Nintendo is really dropping the ball on the SNES classic, as though they didn't learn a single thing from the NES Classic.

Look into building a RetroPi, it's cheaper than you would pay through eBay to get an official NES/SNES Classic, and you can pick and choose any games on way more systems.

I built a RetroPi around the time the NES Classic released, so I've pretty much got it covered at this point.

I feel like he's probably a bigger fan of Jackson than Lincoln, interesting that he doesn't flaunt those similarities.

Pizza Hut, like all other chain pizza restaurants, had a race to the bottom in ingredient quality in order to keep prices low during the recession.

If you have the option, get pizza from any local mom-and-pop pizzeria and it'll be better than the mainstream guys. But if there isn't a better option reasonably close, I'll still take Pizza Hut over any of the other guys. Domino's and Papa Johns have always been orders-of-magnitude grosser than Pizza Hut, so it's a low bar for Pizza Hut to beat them.

Sometimes I see people in positions that they clearly aren't qualified for but I have to recognize that I cannot know every thing about their job responsibilities so maybe there are unseen parts of their jobs that they are really good at.

Plus, you can usually chalk it up to the Peter Principle which appears to be a very real thing where I work. People that have been there long enough, and may have been good in heir previous positions, are reward with promotion/transition to a new position until the two reach a level that they are not capable of performing adequately.

Talk to your own insurance company to see if they ca give you that coverage cheaper. They probably can. You have to have it if you financed the car, so get it through the cheaper option.

I probably enjoyed InFamous more than most of those others, though I don't know if it holds up all these years later. WatchDogs 2 was pretty fun, though it's almost a little bit up it's own ass at certain points. Not necessarily a bad thing, but might be kind of annoying. Syndicate was pretty fun too.

You'll at least probably need to see Prometheus since this is a direct continuation of that story, with several characters carrying over. But the other Aliens films, while worth watching on their own, don't necessarily need to be seen to get this movie. Sure, Covenant works with a lot of elements from those films, but it's not immediately connected.

I'd say yes. I built my first PC specifically to play Shadow of Chernobyl, and it was one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. No other game establishes an atmosphere quite like that series does. The later games introduce some great improvements (fast travel, weapon customization, for instance) but even the first one is pretty cool.

Make sure to track down the Complete mods (just google each game's name with 'Complete' appended onto them) because they help with stability on modern systems, and fix a lot of little bugs that were not cleared up by the developers.

I would caution against waiting for your happiness to arrive from someone else. That's a an awful lot of responsibility for a future partner, and it's not really healthy for you either. If you can't generate at least a significant portion of your happiness on your own, then you're likely to end up an a dangerously-codependent relationship.

I've listened to podcasts that he's done for almost ten years. I don't share all his opinions but I do respect the guy, and I enjoy a lot of the work he's done. The backlash surrounding his joke is actually pretty shameful, and he made some good points. Almost nobody in the gaming industry stood up and tried to calm down the angry mob. Sure, I'm pretty liberal, but that doesn't mean that conservatives should just get shit on like he did. His opinions on video games were very interesting and his knowledge of history was pretty entertaining.

Bummer that the industry is losing his voice, I guess we get to look forward to more and more of the same unified voice in games media. Hearing the same opinion everywhere you go doesn't really do much for making us more informed readers.

Edit - as for the poll options in this topic, it's lacking a middle ground (kind of like our country's current political atmosphere, what a shock!) so its not very applicable. I cannot necessarily agree or disagree with every political opinion of another person.

Honestly, that's not the weirdest thing about marriage here. When my wife and I went to get our license, the clerk had us raise our hands and swear that, to the best of our knowledge, we were not already family members. Don't even need a blood test, I just have to tell some random dude at the courthouse that I'm pretty sure I'm not marrying my sister, and we're good to go. Realistically, if something like a ghost actually existed, and all it could do was turn on and off an alarm, then I wouldn't be too worried about it being hostile. It's probably just testing the alarm out to make sure it still works, so that your grandpa can get up on time and get to work regularly.
