I'd agree with this. I can't really stand him now but he was a good mod.

I guess what I meant is that he just became a radically different person online after becoming a mod then he was before, at least it seemed to me. I had known him for some years before then.

I trust your judgement on that, so I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that what you are saying is that unlike the aforementioned Cher, he didn't let his personal views and feelings affect his moderating? (though no doubt other users didn't believe it)

I was born in 1989 but I grew up in silicon valley which I think put me ahead of the curve on this tech stuff. My parents had a computer before I was born (my dad had an NES, too) and we had DSL by the time I was in 5th grade

I had dial up until I was 18. lol

Granted I lived in the upper midwest

It just seems like the term Millennial covers to many years considering how rapidly tech changes have advanced our lives really.

Example: I was 9 years old when I got my first experience with the "internet" was when they literally took us out of class to go see the one computer in the school that had it running 14.4k modem probs, and we went to NASAs website which was like one of the only websites in existence at that point basically lol.

But, according to many I'm the same as someone born in 1996. When they were 9 years old in 2005, the internet was a daily part of everyones life, they likely dont even remember life before wireless internet and all that crazy shit

Not having a cell phone til I was an adult, nor having any social media until adulthood as well makes me feel kinda confused sometimes about being clumped into that category, especially because I see big differences between myself and late teens and early 20 somethings who can't spend more than 5 seconds away from their cell phones.

Considering we are all obviously now thinking of one particular case. I will say imo that wasn't really that bad, well not as bad as the even earlier case I refer. Just because really the age gaps and what not wasn't that severe ya know. They just crucified him because people like to do that to mods when they can.
