I've tried finding the creepiest, non-moddable but things just don't seem to be as scary in gif form. Movies have music and tension build up to add to the atmosphere. The jack in the box one had the most build up of any of them.

You don't even know you're asphyxiating, because the "air! now!" sense is based on plasma CO2, not a lack of O2. You just sorta pass out within a few breaths, and get brain-dead a few minutes later.
