Regarding King Mog, I can survive his True Power attack well enough with Setzer at ~4k HP, but he has 238 SPR to compensate. I have to make sure WoL's debuff and Minfilia's buffs are up though, otherwise dead party.

There's good stuff like Cat-Ear Hood, Genji Shield, and Man-Eater, and situational stuff like Black Belt, Safety Bit, Curaja. There's also a Holy Lance if you need more Light element options for spear wielders.

Bringing in Tidus without somebody bring in lightning, fire, and ice damage was a horrible, horrible idea for the record. The problem is he needs his LB to debuff water, but Spherimorph resets it immediately after. The AoE Press that deals 99% HP damage and poisons doesn't actually kill Tidus for some reason... oh well, bully for me. The fight degenerated into everybody keeping everyone alive while I'm waiting for Setzer to whittle Spherimorph's 1,3 million HP down.

... and I just noticed I forgot to analyze/Libra Spherimorph. ****!

Just as well, I'm still missing a few Butterfly components to finish up Razzmatazz. Devastator and Hyper Ball are already completed.

I think i'm seriously in love with Warrior of Light now. His Light Is With Us and Breaking capabilities + Raise are awesome for my Ling-less self. Heck, with my core of WoL + Tilith + Minfilia King Mog ain't touching me. Until the end at least.

My advice is gear your tanks towards SPR because he LOVES spamming AoE elemental magic attacks. If you've got Marie, bring her. You can never tell which elements King Mog will use, and he will cast twice a turn. I think he has some thresholds, since he proclaims it won't work on him as a King multiple times, buffing himself up defensively and casting what I assume is a REALLY powerful magic AoE attack. That's the only time I see it though.

So yeah, Multiple element resist if you have them, keep both DEF and SPR up (King Mog sometimes goes for a physical combo), and KEEP HIM BROKEN! Both attacking stats! But especially MAG. Also I have no idea what happens if you trigger multiple thresholds because with my party I was only chipping the fat bastard away.
