Floyd was very patient the first few rounds. He didn't get outboxed as much as he got outworked. Also, Floyd at 40 being expected to KO prime McGregor is a long shot in the early rounds is crazy. If you've ever seen a Connor fight it seems like his cardio fades pretty good after about 7 and a half minutes, so why not let him burn himself out. Floyd did take a few clean punches, but he was unmarked by a "knockout artist" in the peak of his career. After three rounds he was actually pressuring McGregor which generally doesn't happen too often in a Floyd fight. He usually still toys with guys at the end, but he's not walking down people and rocking them all over the ring. Connor did better than expected because the bar was so low. He was way behind on every official scorecard, badly faded, and had no shot of winning. Anyone who thinks otherwise will probably buy the next sucker fight, and does not understand boxing.

I always go back to a Legend of Zelda game, Red Dead Redemption, OlliOlli, Fight Night Champion, FIFA, or GTA V when I can't decide what to play. Those are kind of my default fall back games.

The irony is if these people played other games, and didn't support his games this form of protest would likely be more effective then showing up to react angrily. His company would have to take a financial hit and adjust, and these people wouldn't be wasting their time on something it seems like they don't like. The answer is actually fairly simple.

I thought the IC title match was actually kind of disappointing as far as a lot of the execution. As great as people think the Miz is, especially as the IC champ, I'm not in any mood to hear that guy go on for a few months about how great he thinks he is due to this title again.

I'm surprised the most by the Aries vs Neville match. I have no idea now who the legit contenders to that title are that would seem like a believable threat. Neville has run through that whole division so thoroughly I don't see an actual compelling adversary. I imagine they may put him against Tazawa now that his feud is over with Brian Kendrick, but that guy isn't more believable than anyone else at this point.

I think it's likely that since it came before Final Fantasy VII which didn't have all of the most progressive ideas in one console RPG still represented the forefront of what that would be on what was at the time next gen consoles that the design choices made by later developers were move influenced by Final Fantasy games than Chrono Trigger. That's just a possibility.

The nostalgia theory doesn't explain much since back in the day when those games were being designed there wasn't much of a sense of nostalgia to lean on. Also, those same people who might say that would probably point to current or recent gen RPG's that are nothing like what was widely on the consoles of the day when Chrono Trigger came out. For instance Diablo III and Skyrim are as much like the isometric beat'em ups and first person shooters as they are RPG's. The closest RPG's to those games were on PC for the most part.

That's just what I think.
