If we consider your self to be an amalgamation of every event leading up to your current existence, then such a loop (where memories are lost) would essentially mean your death happens at the end of each of those days. A new self is formed and simply repeats the cycle, but you would only ever experience it the once.

Such an existence sounds far inferior to living a full and normal life, with all of its ups and downs. However, we could then consider what life even means and the nature of pleasure. Would not it be better to only exist in pleasure, or rather to exist singly in the best possible day? Perhaps then we might rather life for only a day, if it be a good one.

I see both sides. I'd rather live normally.

I feel really conflicted about this. On the one hand, I feel compelled to follow the rule given. If I didn't want to follow it, I shouldn't have even come into this topic. Most people here already have been following the rule and I want to fit-in with the herd. It makes sense to not break the social contract of this topic and go against the grain. After all, perhaps our sense of individuality is a mirage? Are we not in fact more products of our societies than anything else? We cannot be said to be self made; we didn't form in a vacuum.

But on the other hand, I feel like an individual. Perhaps my sense of self is in fact an illusion, but I still feel it. I still feel the need to make myself known and to express myself. I feel the need to fight against the current and to become a unique person. Is my desire for self actualization valid, and if so, does its validity outweigh the moral responsibility to follow a social contract?

Hold old is your son? The new 2DS will have a hinge again, so it won't be as sturdy. The 2DS was kind of specifically built to be tougher. If your kid is young, get the current model.

I wouldn't trust several hundred bucks to a seller with 1 review.
TopicWow, I am really impressed by the Switch

Does it feel flimsy at all? I would think it would given that those side controllers are removable.
