Ah, but the amount of harm someone could sustain from a knife is much higher than a lot of other weapons, or even being bare-handed. I propose a knife registry until we can get anti-knife bins into the public sphere.

He likely would have bought a pistol, something easy to conceal, which police vests are designed to take the impact of. There's a higher chance that if he had a gun there would've been a fatality, and that's typically the case, but it's not certain by this particular example.

This is more important to point out than trying to push an anti-gun agenda:

According to the criminal complaint, Ftouhi yelled in Arabic "Allahu akbar" (God is greatest) before stabbing Neville on Wednesday.

In Montreal, Ftouhi lived in a modest white-brick building in a working-class neighborhood popular with North African immigrants called the Petit Maghreb.

And we can talk about his need for "racial sensitivity training" if his decisions (instead of his bad jokes) are shown to actually have been influenced by a suspect's race

sequel, sequel (complete overhaul of the series), sequel, and now sequel are all supposedly slated for this fall according to various recent leaks, some including picture proof. That's not even mentioning Marvel's wonderful sequel, Battlefront sequel with EA going free dlc mode, and Mario sequel.

As if the beginning of this year wasn't stacked enough, and as if the middle of the year wasn't nearly equally as great, looks like the best sequel has yet to come.

No, we don't all agree. Somebody has to actually have measles in the first place to spread them. Healthy people don't have rare viruses like that. The real question isn't politics but rather what vector they originated at and if they have mutated or not (which would render vaccination useless btw).

Healthy people don't have rare viruses like that because we created a vaccine to deal with it to make it rare instead of somewhat common. Measles, mumps, and rubella are obligately human diseases with no known external reservoir or vector if I recall correctly.

Non-vaccinated portions of the population will be able to become infected from carriers, and eventually with a high enough vaccination rate the viruses perish because they either degrade in the environment or hit our immune systems and get destroyed before an infection can take place.

They should stop using the argument that healthcare is a human right (in the US) because it's factually incorrect. Rights are defined by the government and healthcare is not one of them.

- I meant it was correct that it wasn't forced upon you, because it wasn't.

False

An extremely unregulated market means large enterprises are even more free to monopolize, essential services can be jacked up to absolute luxurious prices, and loads of unsafe and untested products.

Shifting to an even more legally free society than that, some anarcho-capitalist trash, would basically turn any modern country into Mad Max.

Wage disparity actually existed at the time.

Aggregate wage disparity has always existed. There may have been legitimate discrepancies in per-job wages earned before the Equal Pay Act, but if modern times are any indication (since people are whining about muh aggregate wage gap now) choices were likely a large cause of inequal pay. Since that time period muh wage gap has barely decreased; you'd think if it was made illegal to pay people differently for the same job equity would've been achieved much faster
