I think the fact that he says things that piss people off and makes typos is pretty clear evidence his tweets aren't proofread.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'd rather see the presidents real tweets, no matter what they are, than tweets put out by a committee who's job is to put out emotionless, carefully crafted politically correct tweets.

It's not so much "don't want" as it is "don't care".

Can't live life under the assumption of something you can never prove (we'll you can, but many choose not to).

It's like that whole "what if we're all in the Matrix" thing, so what if we are? Are you going to spend the rest of your life trying to escape the Matrix than just in case reality as you know it is fake?

It's kind of strange how Steven didn't mention to Lars that he theoretically should be able to open wormholes himself, although Lion was winded from traveling to the Moon so going all the way from Homeworld to Earth might be too much, but it's still and extremely useful skill to have.

He still has a heartbeat though, albeit a slow one. So maybe he'll just age really really slowly.

Which is kinda better than immortality imo. At least he can die at the end after enduring decades of seeing his friends grow old and die before him.

Also, I'm not so sure he would have the exact same powers as Lion. I'm kinda hoping it's not the case and we get to see some unique Lars-only powers that'll make him useful for the inevitable big fight at the end.

He's probably not true immortal, as he probably can still be killed through injury, but based on the information we know...

If Lion is thousands of years old, as is implied, Lars either doesn't age anymore, or ages so slowly that a few thousand years isn't meaningful.

Lars doesn't need to eat or drink anymore.

His heart beating slowly doesn't really mean he's still aging, it just means he's not a normal human anymore, as previously started he doesn't need to eat, like a Gem.

I think it would be funny if Lars has super strength and magical attacks like Lion though.

As in, taking on the personality of the character you are playing (even if a create one), rather than playing as yourself.

Role Playing as yourself doesn't count.

I've heard of a lot of people role playing in single player games like Elder Scrolls or Fallout, but how many people have done it in a multiplayer game with other people (who may or may not also be role playing).

What I think is funny is when people are all like "lets have gun control --- WHAT IF A WAR BREAKS OUT!"... like somehow they can't just repeal the gun control as needed.

I've never heard anybody use that as an excuse for guns. If the government wants to send civilians into war they would draft you and give you a gun anyway, and take it away again if and when the war was won if they were maintaining gun control.

The issue is if the body you're at war with is your own government, and not an outside force.

This was the whole point of the right to bear arms in the first place, written by people who rejected the rule of their government by force.

"Windowed Mode" has existed for a very long time now with PC games, and pretty much every game allows you to Alt Tab in Full Screen mode (although from my experience the issue with Alt Tabbing in Full Screen isn't the lack of the ability to do it, but some games are prone to crashing if you do it).

There are some countries where if you win a case, the losing party must pay for all your legal fees.

The idea being to discourage people from going through with and fighting lawsuits in which they know they are in the wrong.

Although I have not done the research on the pros and cons of this system.

That's what I thought when I read the topic, "aggro" is is typically a term meant for drawing the attention of the AI away from other teammates, what TC seems to mean is "mechanics that favor aggressive play over defensive play".

Arc System Works fighters for example, have a built in mechanic that punishes you for running away. There are still zoning characters, but even the zoning characters typically want to get in and perform mix ups when they get the chance rather than run away.

Iron Tager (grappler) has an interesting mechanic where while he himself is still slow, he has the ability to manipulate the position of the opponent under certain circumstances to make up for it (it's a magnetism mechanic where he applies a status to you and than can draw you to him).

I have tried not to spoil much from Prey 2017, but from what I understand the game is nothing like Prey 2006, they're not really connected, and it's just using the "Prey" name for marketing purposes.

I watched a little footage from Prey 2017, and it looked a lot like Bioshock actually.

If IGN's PC save corrupted, that's an issue that needs to be sorted out, however I would like to know exactly how widespread this issue is, and if it's really a software issue, or if it's an issue with the reviewers hardware, since these things can happen on PC. Most reviews on Steam seem to be good.

FYI my saves for Bethesda games have become corrupted so many times I now make large collections of saves when playing any Bethesda game. I'm told it has something to do with the Quick Save being rewritten over and over gain but I don't really know.

You know something I never understood, in Voyager, they said the Mark 1 EMH (of which The Doctor is) was removed from all Federation installments and ships because people complained it was "rude", but that's incredibly pompous of people to complain about considering what a ridiculous medical genius the EMHs are despite their personality.

The Doctor was using his combined medical knowledge to create new and effective cures even early in his activation time.

It's actually ridiculous that they aren't using the EMH units in place of normal doctors since they are so much more skilled than a normal doctor could possibly be.

But no, people were upset because they were "rude" and refused to use them as a result.

I'm surprised she has a following as it is seeing as how all her videos about video games are very clearly made by someone who knows very little about video games, gaming culture, and doesn't play any of the video games she criticizes, and her videos are filled with lies and incorrect information.

I think both Danny and Jon are/were fine, but Arin over time after Jon left, become the weak link in the Game Grumps duo in my opinion.

When Arin played a game, he would often ramble about nothing at all (rather than comment or joke about the game or anything related to it like they used to), while simultaneously not doing anything in the game (he might just walk in circles not going anywhere and not accomplishing anything). It's this behavior that eventually made me stop watching game Grumps.

They also got into the practice of looking at walkthroughs before even attempting to do anything in many of the games they were playing, rather than only after they ran into trouble.

It's because it's easy to write for.

Having a story that isn't always bluntly solved with the power of friendship and is otherwise filled with silly, random humor would be harder to write.

I don't mind the "the power of friendship" trope, my issue with the Pokemon anime is how bluntly it's applied.

The Yu-gi-oh series is also heavily "the power of friendship" themed but it disguises it much better. It also helps that situations in Yu-gi-oh can often be more serious, and they keep changing the protagonist so the story doesn't become too stale.
