I finally got around to finishing The Disappearance of Yuki Nagato today. Endless-Eight-related PTSD aside, Yuki's spin-off was (in my opinion) just as good as the show it spun off from. Yuki did great as a main character, Haruhi was still lots of fun in a supporting role, Kyon was as entertaining as ever, and Ryoko Asakura turned out to be a much better character than I expected her to be. In fact, I'll say that she was one of the biggest reasons why the spin-off worked so well.

I originally gave The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya an 8.5 overall (9 for the first season, 8 for the second season) and that's the same rating I'll give The Disappearance of Yuki Nagato. It was a cute, funny, entertaining take on the crazy cast of characters that was built so well in the main

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it, I'm long over do for a rewatch of it myself.
