Topic | Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age releases in 2 weeks... are you getting it? |
rjsilverthorn 06/27/17 6:08:44 PM #10 | Nope. I beat the original and I can't see there being that much improvement with the new version to make it worth buying and playing a second time. |
Topic | If you were to get a sports car would you choose automatic or manual? |
rjsilverthorn 06/27/17 10:22:29 AM #3 | Are you talking about a true manual transmission, because they are getting hard to find now. A lot of the high end sports cars have moved to the dual clutch automatic transmissions. |

Topic | My Local Mall is Losing its Second Anchor Store Just this Year |
rjsilverthorn 06/22/17 7:24:37 PM #3 | One mall near us is losing their JCPenny and they already have six other anchor stores so I've got no idea what they are going to find to fill that spot. Technically they already have half of an open anchor location from when Sears closed. They filled the bottom floor but the top is still empty. |
Topic | Pringles can not legally be called a Potato Chip |

Only reason people hate it is because people get so pissy whenever religion comes up. Yes, the fact that a race capable of intergalactic travel would come to a planet where 70% of the surface area is water is a little bizarre. They also skip over why the water vapor that is part of our atmosphere somehow doesn't affect them. |

Apparently the jury came back deadlocked http://www.cnn.com/2017/06/15/us/bill-cosby-trial-verdict/index.html Regardless of the outcome it is highly unlikely he'll do jail time considering he'll be 80 this July and is apparently largely blind. |

Mar-a-Lago is only about 13 ft above sea level, so that should be under water (in more ways that one) long before NYC. |

rjsilverthorn 05/31/17 11:56:21 PM #10 | If you are married do both you and your spouse get $300? Not that I'd say no to just the $300, but it wouldn't be all that life changing. If we are both getting $300 though, that would be pretty nice. |

rjsilverthorn 05/21/17 3:48:43 PM #5 | Hardly world ruling but you could probably make a pretty penny if you went to Microsoft and gave them a 20 year head start on the competition. |

Topic | Windows XP is 15 years old |
rjsilverthorn 05/20/17 12:39:18 PM #4 | It is especially common in business too, because the cost to migrate is a lot higher than it is for individual users. When my company moved from XP to Win 7 it took a couple years to even get to the point where we could start rolling out installs because we had so many programs to certify. Now we are starting to get ready to move to Windows 10. |

Granted, between the last 5-7 presidents, the bar on upright citizenry for a president has been lowered. We didn't impeach him for his sex life. He was impeached for perjury during a grand jury trial and obstruction of justice. |

Topic | I wish I could find unbias articles regarding Seth Rich. |
rjsilverthorn 05/16/17 7:49:51 PM #4 | As far as I can tell the Fox News story boils down to a private investigator that is a Fox News contributor and was hired to investigate the murder by another Fox News contributor, is alleging that there are emails on a PC that he doesn't have and can't prove exists that link Rich to Wikileaks. |

rjsilverthorn 05/13/17 10:20:02 PM #13 | faramir77 posted... Many vanilla ice cream brands use a chemical called castoreum in their flavouring. Castoreum is a chemical extracted from the anus of a beaver. I think "many" is probably over stating it. You have to consider that actually obtaining enough of a product like that to support any kind of major brand would be nearly impossible. It's not like there are a bunch of beaver farms (that sounds wrong) where they are mass producing this stuff. |
