It's rarely worth getting 2 weeks suspension and having your GPA suffer for it

Fighting back is always admirable but people need to stop acting like it lacks consequences

Suspended for 2 weeks or harassed for 4 years.

As explained already throughout this topic, 'standing up for yourself' doesn't always 'end' harassment

It's admirable but it doesn't guarantee ideal results and that's the reality that a lot of you are ignoring

But isn't it worth it to try, even once? What if you've already tried "just ignoring them" and "reporting them to the teacher" 50 times each? Will you not fight back because that might not work either?

No, the Bible contradicts itself because a man can read Jesus say "love your neighbor as yourself" and then also read Exodus say "since the slave is [a man's] own property."

You can't preach equality and say that certain people are property of other people. It doesn't make sense.

There are other things to take into account, also.

Is she currently and actively with her husband. I.E. are they seperated?

Are they swingers?

If her husband finds out, is he the type that would shoot you in the head for sleeping with his wife?

I mean is it any different from getting frustrated or excited about a video game? I'm sure you've yelled or thrown a controller or two. Especially around friends. It's just something people enjoy and get emotional about. All in good fun. I will agree that I don't like when it leads to physical fights. Trash talk and name calling is one thing. When they start throwing fists it ruins it for me.

I don't yell like that when I'm playing video games tho, and I've never thrown a controller. And when I do play video games with my brother and/or some friends, usually the players are the only ones in the house. Thus no one to annoy with any screaming that exists.

I love the excitement. I have been to games and hockey is the best. Every time a goal is scored the place explode so lol

Imagine that instead of the kid watching the game, you're the kid who doesn't care for hockey one bit, and can't tell the people screaming at a television in the room next to yours to shut up and let you focus on reading/studying/homework/whatever because they're your parents.
That's why I hate sports tantrums.

I think cursive was supposed to be neater/more uniform and faster for when you write essays. Computers have taken care of that, though.

Cursive was designed to require you to need to dip your quill pen less by requiring you to lift your pen less. Which makes it faster compared to print.

Read the bolded line. It's not going to matter whether the letters are printed or in cursive when either way, all it takes is the tap of one button to write a character.
