The abrahamic version of "freewill" is a farce as well. It's akin to someone putting a gun to your head and saying "you have a choice". Sure, technically it's a choice, but on ewould hardly call it free will. Now onto the kill happy part. God knew that man was going to sin. He knew that man was going to eat the apple. The whole "test" was pointless, because if he was omnipotent he'd already known what was going to happen. All the tests that he put his followers though (telling Abraham to kill his son for example) wasn't done as a test, because God already knew how that test would have ended. One could only imagine that god was looking forward to killing the Egyptians, or flooding the world, because he knew that was going to happen since the beginning of time. I mean, really you only have two choices here. You either believe that god is omnipotent and all powerful, and is kill happy. Or you believe that god isn't as powerful as you actually thought your rhetoric is pointless, if you do not know the reason God killed what he did during the old testament then there is no reason to further indulge you. once you find out then we can talk, otherwise this conversation won't go anywhere. --- FC 1891 1184 7059. Quantum of Solace showed no character growth and made it clear that they intended to leave him indefinitely as he was in the first film. It was only after that film's backlash that they had him acting like Bond for the first and only time in Skyfall. But then SPECTRE came along and he's right back to being the antihero who dodges sex, never gambles, and acts like an edgy dick for no good reason. And even if they had been in earnest, Bond never needed to be that character. goodness i wish quantum of solace was never made, that was a horrible follow up. and yes skyfall definitely had an old school bond feel and it was good. as for spectre i actually fell asleep in the theater. it's just casino royale was such a great film, maybe it would've been better had it been stand alone movie. --- FC 1891 1184 7059. I'm trying to stick to a low carb diet as well, but I'm failing a lot because frankly I love bread, work in a Bakery and I'm weak willed. Don't be me, be better! The problem I have with any of these diets, be it keto, low carb, etc, is the fact that you don't NEED to give up these foods you love. Being in a calorie deficit yields the same results regardless of your marco-nutrient split. Now some things will keep you satiated longer, but no single diet is better than others. For anyone who thinks being in ketosis nets more fat loss, link me to some studies, would love to read them. At the end of the day, find out your TDEE, eat less than that, workout, and bam you will lose weight. work out and eat healthy!! mad props to the people who don't eat bead, rice, sugar, pasta and fried foods. hell today I worked out and as for my food i had 4 bananas, 6 carrots, 8 boiled eggs, 1 pickle and a few slices of ham cold cuts. i love eating this way. --- FC 1891 1184 7059.
