They could give me a copy if I paid for it, but it would just be a copy of what I already own. They said they've encountered this problem before, but they couldn't help me. They said to pursue immunization records and census records and hopefully those are easy to obtain. I'm not helpless, just downtrodden about how complicated this is and how I'm at such a disadvantage. --- |

| SableWolfAngel 08/25/17 1:46:21 AM #58 | I'm so up in arms because no matter how many times I say I wasn't born in a hospital so I don't have a certificate of live birth or that I say my birth certificate is real and the original, you guys keep saying it's not and to get a "valid one". How can I get this valid birth certificate if it's issued in adulthood? That would be even worse! It said on the letter I got from the passport office that would accept a hospital certificate, baptismal records, or census records. I wasn't born in a hospital so I don't have a hospital certificate, which is the certificate of live birth, I was never baptised, and I'm not confident that my mother reported me on the census because she's mentally ill and thought the government would put a microchip in me if they knew I existed. I called the agent handling my case many times with different documents I had on hand; copies of immunization records, affidavits, and midwife testimonies. He said they WOULD NOT ACCEPT THESE DOCUMENTS. I'm sincerely sorry if I seem stupid or bitchy, but it's because I wasn't born like you normal folk. I was born in the wild, by which I mean a forest. And I'm not kidding about that. My mom showed me the spot on Google Maps when we were researching this stuff and it was way the fuck out there in the god damn wilderness. I'm trying, I'm really trying, but I really, truly don't have the documents you guys are suggesting. I'll give the county records office a call and see what I can dig up, but I'm not confident in it due to these factors.
