I think everyone is seriously underestimating North Korea.

We never won the Korean war and definitely lost the Vietnamese war (guerrilla warfare)

NK survived because China intervened.

They're not useful anymore, and their military is 50 years behind the rest of the world. No one would come to their aid if they started anything. They'd probably manage to flatten Seoul with the artillery they have pointed at it but that would be their only success.

You know it takes like a couple hours to restore a runway to operational status, right? The more important things to hit are the infrastructure targets like hangars, radio towers, fuel/ammo dumps, etc. Craters on runways can be filled pretty quickly.

While I doubt Syria itself has access to such methods, it can be done in an extremely short period of time.

So it was a bad idea years ago when Obama was in power and would totally cause a war but now that Trump did it, it should have been handled years ago

Clinton said earlier today that she supported strikes on Syrian air bases.

If Russia was told about the strike in advance, they would have left the area beforehand and likely also told the Syrians, who would have had time to remove sensitive equipment from the impact site.
