Don't really care about George Hill but Randolph is exciting.

As a Jazz fan, you should have this the other way around. Hill is awesome, he's not a star but you'll love him. Randolph is solid but clearly on the decline and about to turn 36.

Harden was a great off-ball player early in his career, let's see if he's still willing and able to adjust to doing more of that.

And as well as Harden at PG worked out, are we seriously already forgetting how fucking tired he was getting late in playoff games? Having two ball-dominant players has its limitations, but so does having one guy handle primary ballhandling/playmaking/scoring duties all game. The Rockets were also one of the most turnover-prone teams in the league last year and Paul is arguably the best PG ever at taking care of the ball. There's work to be done but there's clearly a lot of potential here.

That's a terrible trade

For which team?

If the Clippers don't agree to a trade, they come away with nothing after Paul just opts out and signs with the Rockets anyways. Beverley, Lou Will, and a pick is actually pretty nice considering the alternative.

Paul/Harden might not be an ideal fit but the Rockets basically just swapped a decent starter and their #4 guard for one of the best PGs ever.

Ewing was a great player, but if Lebron had only 19 ppg in the playoffs everyone would being clowning him.

Lebron wishes he was on the level of ewing defensively. The league back then was about real defence. Ewing wasnt about putting up big numbers, he was there to stop the other team from doing so.

"Real defense" but you weren't allowed to stray too far from your man if he didn't have the ball, otherwise the offense got a free throw.

Anyways, if you're using Ewing to talk up the 90s, pointing out that he was only the 4th best center of the decade is probably more effective than trying to compare him to LeBron.

The 90s: the powerhouses of the 80s got old and faded away, rapid expansion was spreading the talent thin, and the influx of international talent hadn't really began

Jordan is the GOAT and faced some very good teams, but people tend to look at previous eras with rose tinted glasses.

I'm a Jazz fan because my grandpa (from Utah) was a big Jazz fan and Carlos Boozer (from my hometown, Juneau) ended up going there. Stuck with them even after I soured on Boozer and he left.

I'm a Cubs fan because they were the one team I could consistently watch as a kid thanks to WGN.

'm still confused. There are sites you have to pay for and there are different levels of bandwidth at different prices. How is it going to change?

If I don't pay 5$ a month I can't access Netflix.

Right now, I have 75mb/s internet but I could have more bandwith if I paid more. Isn't it the same thing?

You're paying Comcast for access to the internet, which allows you to go to netflix.com
You're paying Netflix $5 a month to be able to stream videos from them
You're not paying Comcast an additional charge to unlock netflix.com because they're not allowed to do that

The last part is what could be allowed.

okay, I found out why we kept it in his name for the repairs - he has a third party warranty that would pick up roughly half of the cost. however, they wouldn't authorize any repairs if the vehicle wasn't in his name, so the service director and the customer agreed to do the repairs in his name, thus maximizing his trade-in value while simultaneously getting us our inflated COD rates

Ah that makes way more sense.

I agree that signing everything over before actually doing the repairs makes more sense (and seems like it should be standard operating procedure, certainly is at the dealership I work for), just saying that the basic idea (if you don't want to pay for the repair, just trade it in and we'll take it out of that) is fine and pretty normal.
