saw this mentioned on reddit earlier 2 hours ago. osrs really is one of the top 10 most viewed categories rn on twitch. i guess some event w/ the streamers is going on

one of my instructors (for aircraft maintence related stuff) said i was very meticulous while he watched me safety wire uhh some nuts or something and perform electrical maintenance. said this trait might piss some people off because i was very slow as a result.

well thinking about this some more i realize i perform everything slowly and with great attention to detail because of my anxiety. im so scared to fuck anything up. I remember having a panic attack after work because i thought maybe i forgot to do something important which would lead to an aircraft crashing and someone dying, etc..

this feeling transcends my old job and i act like this towards videogames (if im like on a team). i hardly play multiplayer stuff as a result unless im forced to (like getting the fighter torso in barbarian assault on oldschool rs [i actually just gave up after a while because i was too scared to get on a team for the defender role]).

this guy is def a bot. saw another account with similar name style and stat allocation too. their movement is very similar to the other guy that i suspect is a bot (but has very rounded out stats so it doesn't look like a bot at first glance)

i found a post on reddit about some dude botting to 99 agility and selling the marks of graces obtained for 50m so i can def see why some1 would bot the rooftops on alts.

oh and the map is nearly twice the size as it was back then + a whole bunch of new bosses n enemies so people are more spread out when doing pvm stuff i reckon. i still have yet to visit most of the newer stuff outside of the kourend catacombs and lizardmen temple

it's still pretty active.

though it can feel sparse when going through older content (like i recently did for quests and diaries). i think most of the population just stays around areas with decent xp and/or rewards so like those newer skilling minigames. a lot of older content is pretty outdated in that regard outside of a few areas, maybe.

when i was doing guardians of the rift there was usually like 200 people participating at once. prob same amount as castle wars in 2007 (castle wars is dead these days).

are bis for woodcutting and mining respectively. they released back in mid 2019 (when I wasn't playing). Had no fucking idea. I was still using a dragon pickaxe in guardians of the rift. thought the crystal pickaxes were just some cosmetic released recently lmao.

when i briefly played in 2021 post-200m fishing i was still using a dragon pickaxe at zeah rc!!!!! i was at barb fishing spot from mid 2020 to early 2021 and only left to go to fishing guild bank to get more feathers lol. did not read any news updates or anything

Virtual level 109 agility now! kinda making sure i stay ahead of this one account that I think is a bot because they always always stop in particular spots before clicking the obstacle. Never seen them do a seemless run and I've been watching them since like 1-2 weeks ago lmao. very bot-like behaviour to me. I'm like 9.3m xp ahead of them rn but used to be 10m. Didnt train much agility when I was doing the diaries and quests so they closed the gap some.
