I'm the same way, actually. It's jarring to watch dubbed live action but I don't judge or complain if people do. With big budget anime like studio Ghibli they put a lot of effort in the dubs and it shows.

The four chicken strips. I put 3 of them in the toast to make a sandwich with the sauce.

I see them all the time in Texas, but never been to one. Every single time I mention about the place, all my cousins go "Chick Fila is better".

I mean, for a simple sandwich maybe. One area Zaxby's clearly beats Chick-fil-A is their salads. Salads at Zaxby's are much closer to something you would get a sit down restaurant. Oh, and Zaxby's has real wings in addition to fingers.

Chick-fil-A has breakfast and that's one of the few reasons I go there.

For 12.49 (in my store) you get...

4 chicken strips
A generous portion of crinkle fries
Small order of cheese curds
Two pieces of toast
A Mr Beast chocolate bar (saving it for later)
A coke freestyle drink

I couldn't finish it all. I feel like I got twice the food I would of got at McDonald's or Taco Bell for a similar price.

The saw the whole movie back when I had a DVD sub from Netflix. A friend who likes obscure Hong Kong action movies recommended it. It's 80s cheese but it's very watchable. There are tons of crazy fights like that. The hero has to fight against a lot of Ninja magic, including the Japanese stereotype of "Kamakazi" ninjas showing up on kites and blowing people up.

I saw the documentary as well. Wasn't it pretty much just the "Human Cannonball" event that caused so much injury? They could scrap that one event I guess. Leave the Joust, the Wall, and of course Assault. Oh, and Powerball. Some of those games are classic.

I hope they keep the series going for at least 5+ seasons. I also hope they stray from the books at some point. I agree that season 2 wasn't as good, but I did like the story arc from the past where Reacher's MP investigator unit defied orders. They could seriously do a whole season about Reacher's past with the military but I don't know if that's ever in the books.

Dragon Quest (Warrior) 1 is one of the four RPGs in my stupid kid phase where I ran/avoided enemy battles, and wondered why I wasn't doing so well/unable to progress. I would like to revisit it and play properly this time.

I replayed it not long ago on original hardware after almost 30 years! I beat it of course, but I forgot how grindy the game is. It's kinda relaxing to play if you are watching something else like baseball or a documentary on another TV (that worked great for me).

Dragon Ques 2 is an order of magnitude better and way more fun since you have a party of 3 instead of 1 charcacter, but some people hate it because it assumes you read the instruction manual and it's really hard to know where to go without any help.

But they beat us up in the financing office, I thought I was waving most of the "bloat" they try to tack on but he snuck in a few things. When I look back at how everything played out he was definitely shifty about how he was selling things.

However, I ended up doing well in the end by buying the 10 oil change package. Right after the pandemic everything shot up in price and I definitely made my money back on that.

I have a light gun for the shooting stages but then I realized the game penalizes you for using it and I died less often using the controller so I just gave up on using the light gun, even if it's more fun.

The driving stages still suck, though. It takes a lot of memorization and reflexes, similar to battle toads I guess. This game is on my bucket list to complete but It's going to be awhile before I get the motivation to try again.

I just gave up after the first season. You can't make Wheel of Time the next "game of thrones" cash cow series. It's more of a niche series and has too many books to adapt.

The doctors that are only in it for the money don't give a shit and will just do it. I guess it depends on the insurance provider.

The pain wasn't that bad but the recovery was annoying, it took several weeks before I could orgasm without pain. I did it as an "in office" procedure so it only cost me a $35 co-pay.

Oh, and I would totally go on this trip! If I was single, that is. It has all the recipes for a good plot for a book or romantic comedy movie. An old flame from 3 years ago mixed with crazy, cruise ship hijinx! Steamy sex, romantic walks down the beaches on shore excursions, high rolling casino gambling, gratuitous alcohol binges, unexpected swingers, awkward encouners wih crew members, maybe a high seas crime mystery gets thrown in there. DQ2 is amazing for how improved it is. Once you get the ship it basically turns into an open world RPG. It's properly hard, too, unlike the 1st game where you can just grind yourself up in levels and keep making progress.

The NES game is where it's at, you actually get encounters like this...You'll never see this in any of the remakes.
