I am extremely concerned about a second Trump term, why? Because I was extremely concerned about a first Trump term, and people told me "oh you're being an alarmist, it won't be that bad"

And the thing is.... I WAS RIGHT, THEY WERE WRONG!!!!!

Just a handful my legitimate concerns that came true:

• Muslim Ban
• Nazis marching down American Streets
• Mass deportations, families separated, children (and adults) in cages.
• Cozying up to dictators
• Ending a woman's right to choose.
• Improper handling of a contagious disease
• Refusing to accept election results and using violence to remain in power.

In 2016 all of that seemed CRAZY to worry about, I was told REPEATEDLY nothing like that could ever happen. Yet it all happened.

So I am very worried about Trump winning in 2024.

At the most basic level, to be 'soup' you must have liquid. Plenty of people (myself included) eat breakfast cereal with no liquid.

Trump is a 34 times convicted felon, who was twice impeached once for interfere with an election the second time for trying to overthrow the government, he had one of (if not the) worst worldwide handlings of a pandemic leading to millions of unnecessary deaths, he packed the Supreme Court with conservatives and struck down women's bodily autonomy, he supported Neo-Nazis, put kids in cages, and has committed several acts of sexual assault on women.

But Biden is not perfect, he has a few policies I disagree with, so... Same thing both sides.

No. And I dare anyone to suggest otherwise, I will gladly beat whoever disagrees with me in a debate, a race, arm wrestling or dance off.

It is one of those things where I am very much WTF doctors/scientist why aren't you working 24/7 on a cure for this. Fix it, like TODAY!

I find in general when people are complaining about features like that, it is a sort of gatekeeping the integrity of playing the game.

Basically, the hardcore gamers wanting the game to be less accessible to more casual player.

They feel these features make the game too easy, which saying you beat the game too less of an accomplishment but even casual players can beat the game now.

FTR: not an opinion I agree with, but one I have heard.

im so low class I didnt know that.

Miss is a strong word, millions died, many more were (and still are getting) very sick for long periods of time. I pray that we never have anything close to a pandemic ever again.

But there was something to the forced isolation, even being forced to stay with family brought people closer, made us all more self reliant, how many people cut their own hair for the first time? I know I did, it sucked and I would never do it again but I tried something new.

And most importantly when it was over we appreciated socializing more. That first time you went to an actual party was amazing.

Also makes you realize what group social things you can live without. Sorry controversial opinion but I can live with Movie theaters. I will use them because thats where they play movies but given the option Ill watch at home.

The bad dramatically outweighed the good. But there was some good in there.

It is kind of uncomfortable how many writers enjoy writing about happy slave races... at the exact same time they complain about not being paid enough to basically doodle make believe.

Can I save you all some time. Right wingers hate Education. (They are legit banning and burning books)

He was a never the most trusted or greatest game critic.

At most he was considered the "funniest" at least at the height of his popularity, which I think has passed. He's still cool but I feel like I don't hear people talking about him as much as they did in the early days.

Yes there are, but the margin is razor thin. If literally everyone eligible to vote goes out and votes for Joe Biden (sorry it has to be Joe Biden), Trump has 0 chance of winning (he would probably lose all swing states and a few red states.

But if just a small percentage of anti-Trump voters don't vote, or vote Third Party, (or ugh vote Trump to 'teach the Democrats a lesson') Trump wins.

So it's kind of like asking "Is there enough food in the world to feed everyone" the answer is technically "YES" but that ignores it is still incredibly hard and would require a lot of work to do it.

As a fan of Fable 1, 2 and 3 this looks... fine.

If anything it is a bit disappointing.

When this one releases it will be 15 years since the last game, the series didn't even have a single game on the Xbox One. So after 15 years and 2 consoles the best they can give us is "fine."

Yes yes of course it's still early and it could be game of the year with a ton of amazing features... but right now as someone who wanted to be hyped for this game, the trailer does not make me want to play it, it makes me want to dust off my 360 and play the old games.

If I had a Xbox XS, I would probably buy this game, but since I have no intentions of getting an XS, this game isn't swaying me to buy one.

Why are you sure she is breaking up with you? If you're talking about marriage and kids, this is a pretty serious relationship, if she hasn't broken up with you yet how are you sure it is beyond repair/discussion.

I do make an exception for people who don't vote because they can't.

They have every right to complain, and should at the top of lungs until they are given the ability to vote.

Also, people (in the US) act like there is only one election every 4 years. There are usually 2 elections EVERY year. And they all matter.

Even if all you care about is the President, state elections matter. That's where you vote for the people who make the rules for who can be on the ballot for the presidential election.

Or how the state counts the votes for the electoral college. If enough states decide to they want a popular vote election we could get rid of the electoral college all together.

Right now states are voting for the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, if enough states adopt, would end the electoral college.
How does this happen? Enough state legislators have to vote for it.
How does that happen? Enough citizens have to vote for good people in the state legislators.

Voting in small elections could mean every vote counts in 2028 onward big election.

Generally - yes.

The exception would be if the person complaining was alway doing everything in their power to make the world a better place in so many different ways, dedicating their lives fight climate change or homelessness or systemic racism, not just complaining about these things but doing stuff above and beyond, to change them... but they aren't voting... I might say they have a right to complain... maybe.

But 99.999999999999999999% of the time the people who are complaining but aren't voting aren't doing anything at all to make a change in the world.

Voting is the absolute bare minimum a human can do. If you can't do that, no you shouldn't complain
