Windows + shift + s

Works in 10 and 11.

Mac is command + control + shift + 4 which is kind of ridiculous.

On Nix it's usually command/Windows key + shift +.printscrn

All of these give you quick access to screenshot when you draw a box and it pastes to your clipboard.

False.
macOS is Cmd Shift 3, or cmd Shift 4. There's also a Screenshot app if your fingers can't somehow press those.

7 was definitely the end of the "classic Windows" era, but it's not the peak.

Peak Windows was definitely Windows 2000 - it was basically a perfect OS at the time. no junk, no UI weirdness, no gimmicks, just a no-nonsense operating environment.

Yep, that happens here too. Sometimes a good strategy is to run it on a day where it's sort of middle-of-the-road temps out, so you can get the crap air vented outside with open windows.

If you're REALLY motivated you can use canned air or vacuum out the vents to get the dust and other debris out, which will help with the smell.

Legitimately don't understand why so many keep up with a franchise forever with its head in the mud.

Yeah same. I stopped after Gen 3, but did play HGSS as well as Sword/Shield to damn near 100% completion. HGSS is a masterpiece, but Sword/Shield were insanely janky, and the graphics and performance were pathetic compared to other games released in the same year.

I'll be content with replaying Gens 1-3 til the end of time at this point. The franchise clearly has moved to shovelware territory.

This next one is less educational but more "old internet" stuff - neocities.org is great for browsing around. Almost all the content there is focused on 90s/2000s era website design without any modern crap.

End of a decade long error. The Xbox has been an unfocused mess since the One. Way too many mediocre releases with confusing names and idiotic barriers of entry. Im someone who loved the openness of the 360 era, particularly with Guitar Hero and Rock Band peripheral compatibility and great hardware support. That all went away stating with the Xbone where they disallowed legacy controllers without a specially crafted adapter that was unreliable and discontinued rather quickly.

Not to mention the stupid ass console names. Imagine naming your system Xbox One X which contains three Xs.
