I have no use for anything U2 put out after Zooropa, but I am a fan of most of their stuff until that point.

When counting crows was becoming a thing I heard a radio interview with the singer where he talked about his poetry was so good he had to start a band to put it to music. That put me off of them for some reason. I always put them in the same category as Matchbox 20 and Collective Soul, just sort of bland and not for me.

Rocking the Skywalker or whatever the last sequel movie was called is so bad it might actually be worse than the prequels. However, no matter how misguided and poorly executed episode 8 is, it actually has ideas (that it fails to execute properly) and some really gorgeous visual design and for that reason alone it is a better film than any of the prequels.

I had some bullshit with a hotel last December. They hit us with a 500 dollar fee for damaging the room, refused to show evidence of this (we had booked for a place to sleep due to a 17 hour flight layover), and said no refund policy. Had to get bank and BBB on this. Had the fee refunded.
