These loaner decks are pretty stupid. You have to laugh that eldlitch runs all the floodgates but doesn't even play the eldlitch fusion monster. The solo modes don't even give anything. But just to be sure you're always underpowered they have maxx c and ash at 2 in all of them. Actually they made sure not to give Eldlitch maxx c so they know its head and shoulders above the other 2 decks...

Like they could have had a ranked mode that only allows the loaners or an event with actual rewards instead of this. The Swordsoul deck they gave away was way better than this.

Fusion x Link was a lot more fun than limit 1. Other than the usual Tear trash I has a couple fun matches against Gate Guardian and Unchained. Granted the event is mostly the same but replacing anything you can't use with more handtraps. 5 duels were both of us opening all handtraps and waiting to see who would draw engine.

Finally managed to pull a S:P so I have something to show after 5 10 pulls.

The last 4 10 packs I pulled gave me a total of 3 URs this is the worst I've ever pulled so I guess I'm not trying out Horus.

I swept the limit 1 festival with Infernoble Mikanko. Its a lot brickier than the full version but Isolde is easy to get to and does everything.

Clean swept skill drain event with Eldlitch. I'm happy about it but only beat a Rescue ace player because I went first and had a negate for rescue.

Event has been hit and miss for me. XYZ was going to be hardest so I started with it using Exosisters. Got it day one but win rate was pretty bad, Chimera destroyed me. Fusion next day tried having fun with Cyber Dragons but that was a mistake, switched to Branded and it was same old but actually winning. Synchro was Ghoti and I could relax and enjoy finishing up all the titles.

I tried to pull Chimera. First 10 pack and my only UR was nightmare magician. Second was 0 URs so I wasn't very optimistic. But next 3 got me all the Rescue Ace I needed and all but 4 URs in chimera. Even got a glossy Mikanko spiritwalk. Now I can actually have fun playing a new deck in an event without caring about rank.

That said today I have drawn all 3 copies of Chimera fusion in my opener with a combination of 2 handtraps or Bephomet 4 times today.

To be honest the whole game repeating the great dissolutionment was a huge turn off. The opening of the game with Ichiban trying to help people find work was way better than anything else. Like a Dragon was supposed to be the end of the Yakuza so Kiryu ending his story with maybe I should've stayed chairman didn't mean anything to me.
