I got modded in the NBA board for making a "Giannis to the Spurs" topic like a few days after the Bucks got eliminated, in the opening post I made it clear that it was just my thoughts on what should happen but I got modded for baiting and switching. How I should make it clear on the topic title that it's an hypothetical. Kinda pissed me off. Especially since the topic only lasted like 10 minutes on the board....

And it didn't help that a week later a different user made THE SAME EXACT TITLE and it was left untouched and it naturally got archived (as it should) but I'm not going to lie that left a bad taste in my mouth.

I'm planning on buying used, both my Switches were used and I had 0 problems with them. Most of the games I've purchased were used, I even bought the pro controller used. Been buying used consoles since the Wii days and I never had a problem with any of them. The worst that happened was with the Wii U I bought, it came with a slightly exposed power cable and I still used that for 7 years with no problem playing 4k hours on it.

Buying used is the way to go imo if you want to save like 100+ dollars

Once the new Splatoon or Smash titles are released. Or if there's an exploit that you can do to homebrew the console

Snow didn't make Ice types good though, they just made them a little bit better. There's alot of broken Ice types this gen because of other attributes that has very little to do with Ice types though. Like Chien-Pao would still be broken if it was a mono dark type. Baxcalibur would still be broken if it was a mono Dragon type

Ice types need alot of help. If I remember correctly the only type that resists Ice is Ice. They need like 3 or more types that resists Ice, even if it doesn't make any sense. Like make Ice resist Water and Fairy and have Fighting be neutral to it. Hell make Ice type moves immune to Ice type Pokemon that way you can nerf Ice offensively and buff it defensively.

Sorry for posting irrelevant shit in this topic but this topic definitely reminded me when I was in high school when a gay student came out and everyone (including me) was giving him a hard time. Not because he was gay (at least for me anyways, I'm sure there were some people who attacked him solely because he was gay) but because prior to his announcement he wasn't well liked at all. He was just a huge asshole and had this huge entitlement around him acting like his shit don't stink. (Just to give some sort of context, I remember one time in the cafeteria I was playing with my GameBoy advance and he asked what I was playing and if he can try it. I lend him the game and after two minutes he just yelled boring and dropped my game into the ground)

Just because you're gay doesn't mean that you aren't a despicable human. I know after the announcement he got depressed and thought people hated him because he was gay, until people started pointing out that people didn't like you beforehand and that we had a gay teacher that most people were cool with because the teacher was actually a decent human being.

No, I don't care about physical games. Been fully digital close to 10 years. I don't like physical games taking up space in my house, I never cared about selling after I'm done with them, and as someone who hacks their old consoles (and for the most part you can hack your console at the end of their lifespan.) I don't have to worry about losing the ability to replay/download games after the console's online services shut down
