I have always known. Its the first thing I remember knowing.OK, I definitely understand the opposition to the relentless taxonomies of identity that are happening. That said, I remember when I was a kid, and there were no words for who I was, or who I felt I was, other than ones that'd get me banned from GameFAQs. I'm absolutely non-binary or genderfluid, at this point known only to my partner. I used to rock the androgynous look and absolutely exult whenever I was "mistaken" for the opposite sex. These days I don't even try to push towards the epicene because I just feel like if I tried, I'd never meet the ideal I want. I'm a perfectionist and it'd always be flawed and just lipstick on a pig. I'm more comfortable being uncomfortable in my own skin than being repelled by my inability to meet my ideal, if that makes sense. Trading one self-disgust for another.
