Is it weird that I tend to just ignore/avoid graduations? Watched bits and pieces of the last few streams but I'm probably just going to do a few affinity quests in XCXDE and unlock the new Skell while the actual grad stream is on.

Aqua's and Coco's were incredible, was working during Shion and Chloe so I could only listen. Didn't watch any ENs.

Back to people blaming "idol shit" for everything no matter what. Try calling it idol shit to Biboo or Mori or anyone else who puts effort into both that aspect of the company and the streaming side and see how they react.

If we're gonna believe these girls when they say disagreements with the company then we also have to believe them when they say they enjoyed doing idol performances, otherwise you're calling them all liars.

I'm at the point where if it's not my oshi then it's hard to care. Obviously it's sad that people my oshi likes are leaving and will likely never interact with my oshi again, but as long as she's happy and streaming then I'm happy.

The thing is, all of them say that they like the singing and dancing. In Mumei's case the problem is that she can't do those things because of her health and it's killing her mental.

I think some of these girls are just over it. They don't want to deal with having expectations and deadlines. They all say they can refuse or accept as much work as they want, but then what's the point in staying if you don't want to accept anything? I think we just finally reached a point where some girls wanted out and it's all unfortunately coming at the same time. I think it slows down after Gura.

Seems like the general vibe with this is mostly just "yeah, it was bound to happen." Doesn't seem like there's the same level of sadness of some of the others.

That's how it's been for everyone besides Fauna and maybe Chloe. Amelia, Aqua, Shion, Mumei and Gura, the writing was on the wall.

Miko debuting a Live2D model for April Fool's. This is going to look bizarre to me after watching her in nothing but 3D for all these years.

I also have pretty much all of her merch.. not sure what to do with it. She didn't really leave a lasting enough impression on me to keep it on display it like I'll do when Miko eventually leaves.

Not looking good for Mumei. It'll be a weird feeling for me because I was a day 1 member of her second tier until I ended it last December. I have a lot of nice memories from her streams the last few years, but I saw the writing on the wall and distanced myself appropriately. I wish her well going forward.

But since the stream hasn't start yet, I don't know if she already has one or not. If she has to hunt the karp first, we're getting another Akai na~ situation here XD

I think she's just going to play the DLC with the Shiny Magikarp she already beat the main game with. Though it would not surprise me if she hunts for a new one.

Not sure why she chose Ruby, but it ended up being a better choice for another reason. She has 5 Zigzagoon in her party with the Pickup ability which was absolutely broken in Ruby and Sapphire and nerfed in Emerald. She's going have have endless Rare Candy and Nuggets by the time she finds her shiny.

Miko is going for a Shiny Magikarp in Gen 3.. where there is a flat 1/8192 shiny rate.. with zero mechanics to improve the odds. This could take a very long time.

The ones who want to stream primarily will likely fall out honestly, as Holo leans more and more into the idol scene. Randon/Vesper recently touched on it in a video. A lot of idea rejection to protect the brand, and turning activities into work.

Fauna literally said she liked being an idol. Stop with the idol angle.

I hope you realize that whining about "toxic" hololive fans does far more damage to hololive and its reputation than said toxic fans could ever hope to. But winning internet good boy points is more important I guess.

Cover's management has been dogshit for the last year+. They get no benefit of the doubt anymore. Aqua is not my oshi but Hololive has been burdened with rotten management who has no idea what they're doing. I want to say that this is the coup de grace but it can easily get worse.

Yagoo and Cover should be on their hands and knees, begging Aqua to stay and letting her do as she pleases. But nope, just let her go. It's not like the girls themselves are what built Hololive into what it is today, right?

If Aqua was simply done with content creation and wanted to ride off into the sunset, then it is what it is. But that's obviously not the case. It's a joke that it got so bad for her that she felt like this was her only option.

I just don't think they're properly taking advantage of and supporting what they have. It's not really anything tangible, just my own opinion.

The fact that they couldn't come to a compromise with one of their most popular girls and one of the pillars of Hololive is inexcusable and tells me there's more rot on the inside than even I thought. Literally just let Aqua do whatever she wants, it's that simple. For her to choose something as drastic and permanent as graduating shows that she thought there was no hope of anything changing.

Remember to cherish your oshi, because this could happen to any of them at any time.

Interesting, if that's the reason. That means she actually still wants to stream and there's no "RL" issue in the way, so she very likely will reincarnate, unless Cover lets her keep the Aqua persona.

Maybe not the entire reason but she definitely noted it was one of them. Cover needs to realize people are fans of Hololive girls, not the company. I've been really annoyed with their management for a while now but this is putting my trust at an all time low.
