I'm fine with property taxes so long as they're not too outrageous and so long as those taxes are actually being used to improve the community and surrounding area (which unfortunately isn't always the case).

That being said, I live in Texas where the property taxes are completely outrageous.

Makes me think back and just yet another reminder how fast time really goes. It honestly feel like just a little bit ago I closed on my house. I had been home from the Navy about 5 years and literally just turned 28 by about 2 weeks. That was 20 years ago. Damn that went fast.

I imagine your home is worth way more than what you initially paid for it now

Tbh, the inheritance I received from my dad is what made it possible. But our home is also in a brand new community/area that's still being built up, so we managed to get in on the ground floor before people start migrating here. The price for our floor plan has already gone up considerably.

And FWIW, our home would have been WAY cheaper than what we currently pay in rent if not for our property taxes.

My only confusion so far is that Sister Sage instructed Firecracker (who legitimately seems like a joke) to kill MM, Frenchie, Kimiko to join the 7, yet she obviously failed. Do we think there will be any pushback from that or no?

Also in that same scene SS refers to MM as Marvin, did they know each other previously or did I miss a scene?

Tbf, the only reason her plan failed was because that guy had pink eye. Then again, she probably should have accounted for that.

I'm not sure if she knew him previously, but I'd imagine MM's name would have been in the news after Season 1.

While completely ignoring his responsibilities at Tesla for over a year. And single handedly responsible for their decline by pushing the cyber truck! This is just amazing to me.

Reality really does feel like out of a comic now, we've got the evil organization that's managed to brain wash a good chunk of the population to believe they have their best interests at heart when in reality they're just using them to gain power and keep power while not only not doing anything to better these people's lives they're actively working to make them worse, the sad thing is, usually in comic stories people and organizations like this get destroyed, reformed or tank themselves when the leaders are caught bragging about how corrupt and how much they hate the people they've douped into following, here, such moments are glossed over or flat out cheered.

It's funny because the ongoing plotline with The Boys is about how Homelander managed to radicalize his base into cultlike devotion to him, and yet our real-life version of that is somehow even dumber.

Cosmic Fury and Once and Always are both pretty good.

Don't get me wrong, those are good (well I haven't seen the new season yet) but the actual brand management regarding the franchise has been awful. They barely even had any toys for Cosmic Fury when Power Rangers is basically a toy commercial.

However, in this case, Babyface(or whatever) is fully aware that their assertions are false. Therefore, their stance is not one of ignorance, but rather a deliberate misrepresentation. Maybe you wouldn't need to go to the gym as much if it was feasible for you to do more walking.

Because walkable cities are:

- Better for the environment
- Reduce traffic
- Lend themselves to better city design and more efficient use of space
- Make life easier for people with certain disabilities
- Remove a necessary expense for low-income individuals

Seriously, car-centric city design is awful. Just look at Houston

I don't know if they'd kill Homelander off in S4 because he's by far the most popular and iconic character on the show. I definitely see viewership diving off of a cliff for the final season, even if it were well-executed and fit the story.

However, I've always been partial to the idea of Homelander's ultimate punishment being him getting depowered, imprisoned and forced to rot in a cell for the rest of his life as a normie. I can see that happening in S4, and then S5 is just him radicalizing Ryan to take his place.
