Company layoffs were announced, and about 1/4 of her department was cut. thats about 70% of our income gone. we have some savings but Jesus Christ this is a huge hit. Were definitely going to be struggling for a few months until she finds something new. In college literally all my friends told me so lmao even today, youd be surprised how many people are like THATS your wife??? / you married HIM?? <_< it would be insulting if it wasnt so amusing there was a long period of time (maybe even 1-2 years?) where I thought surely she was going to leave me because she was just way too good looking. But honestly, you get over it. And you gain more confidence in yourself. People in general, I think, arent as shallow as youd think they are. A genuine connection goes a long way.
