How the heck does Senior IC get paid the same as Manager?

Also, the communication chain here is recruiter, hiring manager, back to recruiter.

Ive noticed a new trend (or at least new to me) is creating positions in between individual contributor and manager. For example, they will have Senior or Lead positions which basically means you are the best individual contributor on your team and now have more responsibility than them but still arent overseeing anyone, and you get paid slightly more than them.

Im interviewing for a promotion and the recruiter said it would include a n 8% - 12% raise. Note: this is not an annual merit increase; rather, a new position and a step up the ladder. I tried doing some research online and saw mixed results. What have you guys seen?

A quick google search confirmed Delita Hyral is a human but the last name sounds like GoT meets Zelda so shes on the chopping block. Tifa is a human and therefore safe.

This sounds like a given and we are already 1/3 the way there, but what is going on with some of these names?

Apostrophes, hyphens, etc. We dont need that.

I will join the fray once we hit the top 20. To preserve the sanctity of these contests I will set bounties to eliminate:

• Characters with punctuation in their names
• Characters whose names sound like they belong in Game of Thrones
• Characters with more than two names
• Animals

I posted this on the games board but wanted to discuss here too.

I beat the main game and am 90% through replaying on Hard Mode, and I still have to start the Yuffie DLC.

Overall, I think it was a solid B game, maybe B+. I am likely biased in that I dont like the action RPG format of games compared to the turn-based RPGs. Even so, the story was incredibly patchy and someone who hasnt played the original would be incredibly lost. In fact, many people who played the original would still be lost at times.

I enjoyed the characters for the most part but Cloud came off far too emo while Barrett was much louder than he needed to be. I loved Jessie, Tifa, and Aeris. I know these characters (sans Jessie) were based on the original, but I do think Cloud and Barrett were remade poorly.

The battle system was alright. I feel like action RPGs inherently take less skill than turn-based ones. There wasnt much strategizing as the original and the lack of diverse Materia may be to blame. Summons were pretty pointless which was an unfortunate realization.

Like I said, I did enjoy the game. I think it was better than a large majority of modern RPGs. Unpopular opinion on this board but I thought FFXVI was slightly better. I am looking forward to playing Rebirth soon!

I just beat the main game. I thought it was below average compared to similar games. Zero lore or story, repetitive puzzles, and short. I dont plan on doing any post game.

Hows this for a deal? For some reason the Spider Man 2 bundle is cheaper than without. Its a PS5 Slim with disc attachment for $449, and theres $25 discount if I pick it up in store.

Im not sure of all the differences. I dont really want to spend more than I need to and dont care whether its discs or digital so long as theres enough data.

3. How good was the first one compared to the original?

All That is showing on Netflix. Only a few seasons though. I suggest rewatching.
