Still can't get it all off my mind, I hate that it was her, I had never seen a dog as small as her before I met her to be honest, and me and her always had sitting chill time because she very rarely plays with any dogs (always gets along with everyone though)

Leia (and her brother Luke) are frankly boarded too often... Their owners break no rules, the dogs are well behaved outside of being buttholes/pestery to other dogs both big and small (in a playful manner, usually the farthest anything has ever escalated is a dog getting annoyed that Leia keeps wanting to play while they do not.)

The sad thing is that if I hadn't been at work and I got told this happened, I could almost Assuredly accurately guess what dog did the attacking without being told it was Leia.... She just get boarded with us too often which leads to them/her being more annoyed with not being home/protective of hotel areas etc...

Honestly, Petsmart may want to look into modifying their policy when it comes to extremes in size difference.

If the dog that got killed was a tiny teacup sized 4 pounder, they probably shouldn't be put in with larger dogs that are known to pester others. Even if a mauling isn't intended, an accident could easily happen with something that tiny. That's less than half the size of an average cat.

The owner could probably sue unless they signed a waiver that Petsmart isn't responsible if another dog mauls theirs to death.
