The thing about that Press Your Luck guy is if you looked at his stops, they almost exclusively landed on the spots top right and mid-right. Why? Because those spots remained consistently $$$$ + 1 Free Spin. The flickers DID sometimes stay on those boxes long enough so it was practically a game of seeing a flickering light on those squares for him. Just see the outline light up on those boxes you are focusing on, hit the box as fast as you can, and no risk of a whammy at all, and the +1 spin bonus was guaranteed.

He did see a loophole, but fast reactions on a safe spot wasn't it. The lit squares weren't random. There were only five patterns that were randomly selected. He memorized the patterns and only buzzed in when he knew it was going to be on a safe square. Of course, human error still exists and he messed up a few times, but it worked.

Before clicking on the topic, this is the one I was thinking of too. I remember watching the documentary made about it.

I like Vesperia more, but Abyss' narrative doesn't fall apart in the end like Vesperia's is said to do.

I'd say Vesperia and Abyss have a bad Act 3, just for different reasons.

A lot depends on your liking Jade.

That may explain things as I did not like Jade. Heck, the only character I ended up liking was Luke because of his character arc.
