gif pronounced with the g sound instead of kid is generally the commonly accepted way to say it. The creator might call it jif and that might be his intended pronunciation but its not the general norm in my experience. I personally have always said gif and dont plan on changing that

TSA precheck is normally just another line. Clear just cuts you to the front of the regular line. Honestly in most airports its not a big difference maker but for some airports the lines are consistently pretty long. Almost everytime Ive been to SEA its had really long lines.

For domestic flights its usually just comfier seats, actual meal service if the flight is long enough. The flight attendants also give you more attention as in you can ask for drinks/snacks whenever you want and theyll check if you want anything more often. Alcohol is also free. International flights normally have a several tiers but the highest level normally includes seats that recline into full on beds and better service.

Also not exclusive to first class but airport lounges are generally pretty nice when traveling often. Theyre honestly cheaper than flying first class but you get the benefits of having somewhere more comfortable to wait for your flight and they generally have a small buffet and free drinks alcoholic and regular. My lounge access is toed to credit cards and I have the United one as theyre my general preference for flying as well as an Amex card for times I dont fly United. A lot of these cards have other benefits like paying for your TSA/clear membership. Granted its not really free as the cards have a yearly subscription fee. I believe the United one is roughly $500 and Amex used to be $500 but they recently changed it. I dont remember how much it is now it was somewhere around $650-$800 a year. Which is expensive but if you make full use of the benefits it does feel worth it to me.

Almost always yeah. I hate flying so I normally fly first class to cope.

Especially when the agent just cuts past a line of like 200 people to get you to the front.

Personally I just always side with the main characters in whatever Im watching. So I always find anyone who gets in their way annoying and often dislike them automatically. Good or bad I basically just dislike whoevers opposing them.

When I read the manga as a kid I actually liked Near and he was even my favorite character but the ending is so dumb and obviously exists just to not have Light win. You really expect me to believe one guy broke into the bank and stole the death note and made a perfect copy in one night. Honestly shouldve just ended with Ls death.

Yeah but way less than I played before. Ive done all I wanted to do when it comes to raiding achievements and I personally dont like the direction of end game content in the game. Moreover I feel that I have more productive things to do than raid all the time. That said lll probably still play the expansion casually to some degree.

When was 21 considered an adult? You could always join the military after High School, 17, 18, or whatever.

The age of majority in the US was 21 until 1971. In 1971 the 26th amendment gave 18 year olds the right to vote and as a result most states followed and lowered their age of majority to 18. Legally speaking the age of majority is the age in which someone is no longer a minor.

This is not true in America there was a time where 21 was considered and adult and it was later lowered. And throughout the different civilizations of the world it has varied from 15/16 to 21 for men and was low as 13/14 for women (though for women then adulthood mainly meant old enough for marriage/children)

Honestly I agree for the most part. But historically we have moved the age thats considered an adult a few times in history pushing it back slightly later. So the argument is whether or not 21 should be considered the age of a legal adult. I dont care either way but I do think itd be nice if it was consistent instead of different things at different ages of adulthood.

I edited my previous post but I dont necessarily disagree. But it would have interesting implications for a lot of things.

Honestly most 18/19 year olds arent much different than children to people over 25 anyways. I do think that after HS there does become a pretty big disparity in life experience depending on the path chosen. Like kids who go straight into picking up a trade or joining the military have on average more actual life experience than kids who goto to college directly after HS without working. Not that I think one path is better than the other.

This is a good point. I don't really understand the people approving of this. If you can vote, you should be able to do anything else. I am not a fan of different ages for different privileges. Either change the age of legal adult to 21, or make everything legal at 18. This mix and match crap is stupid

I mean were slowly moving everything to 21 it seems. It was just drinking, then smoking, etc.

i do wonder if they ever did change the legal age for things like age of consent and pornography to 21 what will happen to so much of the existing stuff. It would be basically impossible to wipe out all 18-20 y/o porn that already exists so would it only apply to newly produced stuff?

Yeah I mean I personally enjoy both of their music. I dont really care about either one of them outside of the music. But I just find it interesting what happened to the sub. I honestly dont think most of them are even really his fans as much as it is people who are just heavily invested in all of the conspiracy.

I swear theyve gone off the deep end with their conspiracy theories at this point. Half the posts are about Kendrick being a savior risking his life to expose everything

It probably helps that typical parking lots have hundreds of spots, whereas a typical public bathroom, especially male ones that also just "waste space" with urinals, have only 2-3 total stalls.

Mens room do have less stalls but urinals are actually way more space efficient. Lots of malls/department stores actually have bigger bathrooms for women to fit more stalls.
