Sorry to hear what you're going through.

Doctors try to make the right decisions. Hold tight to the rest of your family while the medical team does their thing. When my dad had pancreatic cancer, there was a bit of writing on the wall; and it's not so much of shrugging it off, but just knowing human nature is at its own work. It'd be nice to have the means to revival for anything, but that's not what we are meant for. The effort to make the best of the situation is all that can be asked for.

Like it probably has as big of a spotlight as it's had in a long while, but there's a microscope on arguably the core of said spotlight (Clark) propping her up too much, to then set her up for remarks of wherever she comes short, and then some other players in the league not taking well to her. Some of that might just be some fair "welcome to the league", but some also just petty envy, but bottom line not stuff that should be put out while the league needs to show it's best self right now. Like it's pathetic that a flagrant foul that's not rare in the NBA makes a CNN headline, but we know that's how today's media operates, and there should be awareness at a professional level to not fuel that.

That being said, the league is still netting more interest than before. Just hope it doesn't undo itself.

The emergence of over-opinionated "nothing's ever good enough for meeeeeeeeeeee" society/audience in the 2000's kept the movie getting as much praise as it should have.

For me, I mainly just had to get along with the T180 concept with the Mach 5 losing some spotlight, but it wasn't hard for me to take it as a lot of lighthearted fun. The videogame was fun as well. It really was a good reinvention of the original anime imo.

That being said, my alternative of holding out for things to "just happen" isn't exactly assuring to someone actively looking. Currently got introduced to someone and both feeling out each other and the situation in itself. It sounds like a low bar to have common ground mainly in a core principle, but it may pan out to be the most important thing at the end of the day.

But as someone who stays away from marijuana, I don't think speaking of its use carries any distaste or influence at this point. Yes a 13 year old could be reading, but the exposure to stuff already exists in videogames.

He was in the ICU. I think he called at an off hour I wasn't awake, but then he was distracted because the nurse came in to talk to him, and didn't hear it go to voicemail and left the phone on.

Even though we didn't have a great relationship, it is still a thought that crosses my mind that it's of the last audible evidence that he was once alive. He might be in a few VHS tapes of family events, but I'm not able to run those atm.
