Pretty much every unit comes out of the gate with enough Chemist JP to learn Potion and Phoenix Down right away, so there's no reason to lock them into their starting jobs. Awesome soundtrack, great atmosphere, and pretty good gameplay... but the story really is a mess. Some interesting sci-fi ideas, but the pacing was bad, only about 3 of the 44 playable characters had any development after they join, and it basically was to Chrono Trigger what the The Last Jedi was to the OT (yes, some may consider that a positive). I'd still probably give it an 8/10 for the positives, though. And if anyone says I shouldn't criticize messy story games due to my username...
