Maybe i'm slow today or the weird punctuation or something, It's a transcript of a live recording from the journalist on the plane so it's a little janky. i'm having trouble understanding why he could'nt jump Because over a dozen large men in full combat gear with equipment and parachutes all quickly ran out a plane and dived out within 12 seconds at the same time. The dude stumbled or was too slow and the other men just barged through him like linebackers, sending him falling on his ass at the back of the plane. I had been perspiring in the crew cabins up front, but back where the colonel sat I was glad I wore heavy clothing. Vast Armada below and the jump now. The paratroopers were on their feet each adjusting his packs and snapping his ripcard over the static line a cable which ran along the center of the cabin ceiling so that each Chute would open automatically as its wire jumped through the door. He all spent asked the colonel get this thing hooked for me. He said as he took his own place closest to the door. Dump lights, a small Bank of signal lamps were Gleaming beside the door. They blinked as the pilot threw his switch and before I could look up they began jumping I wanted to know how long it would take the 18 men to jump I tried to count 101 102 103 to estimate the number of seconds before I had counted to 10 seconds. May have been 11 or 12 but no more our passengers had left us all but one of them paratroopers shoved each other so swiftly and heavily towards the open ,he was thrown into the back of the cabin in a daze, the men behind shoved them aside and went on jumping. Before the unhappy soldier could get to his feet, our plane was well past the drop zone, and in a matter of minutes it was back over the water and setting a course for home. It was too late, and that soldier had to return with us. He was inconsolable. He thought his comrades might think him yellow. The plane crew assured him they would think no such thing, but he sat moody and glum all the way back. On the other hand at least it garanteed he survived. Youtube piroitizes watch time more than views. Generally (but not always) the people who make long form content have high watch time or else they quickly give up on long form content and do shorts + top ten lists. This is also why heavy hitters like Markipler still cut up their video game sessions into 16 part videos. Since despite getting millions of views every single video, their audience is not big on watch time. Although this gets super muddied if your income is largely from Pateron or donations. I don't think anyone has to sit through an entire video to generate a view so it really doesn't say much about attention spans. True but I think the "I refuse to watch this because it's not short. There is nothing on Earth you can't over simplify and badly explain quickly with no details or context so I can get the gist without having a single critical thought." says much about attention spans. Also explains why politicians and corporations get away with everything.
