i remember getting into a huge tactics ogre/ogre battle phase of my life, about ten years ago, and i bought it used just to play it. i really could only put a few hours into 64 until i lost interest. just didn't stick with me. maybe one day i'll go back to it...

i can't get through stick of truth. i've tried many times. i actually have one going right now, and i'm like more than halfway, and it's just so difficult for me to get back on the game and finish it.

i played and beat and 100% fractured but whole though. not immediately when it came out, but when i played it, i got hooked and it was fun. so, i'd say it was better.

no, i don't really think it's that good. not to say it's broken or anything, but the overall experience is not very well executed, the story is forgettable, and if it wasn't called "castlevania" there wouldn't be much reason to play it. i don't think it does anything better, or even well, that other ones in the franchise didn't do before it.

but not to hate on it completely, like i said, it's certainly a well made game. whether it's enjoyable or fun is really just opinion. but if you want a castlevania game, it would be one of last ones i would ever try to play again (just played through advanced collection and a couple on classic collection on steam btw, just saying).

but spaceballs has plenty to riff on. the entire sequel trilogy is ripe for picking apart and made into the goddamn shameless piece of parody crap that it is. none of the other 80s comedy sequels had so much to work with. imagine spaceballs with prequel and sequel jokes. if it hits right, it could be good.

i wish it was common practice for them to hire a separate set of voice actors for the same language just in case you wanted something else. i hate having to watch a foreign version just to hear good voice acting.
