People are not monolithic.

Social Media influences a hell of a lot of people. Which includes content creators and sayings that get spread throughout society that gives an expectation of what men should be.

If we can argue that TRP is hurting men and influencing them in a negative way: Then we can also argue that the expectations of what a man should be(tall, good looking, 6 figure earner, luxury life style, pay for everything) is creating an unrealistic standard that most men can't live up to

Me: In society, men struggle to talk about their feelings. Men have high suicide rates. Men are statistically more depressed. In society, it's looked down upon to talk about your feelings or cry, as a guy.

If a guy is open about his feelings, he gets scrutinized on not only most forums, but in real life situations as well.

Part of why men struggle so much in life is because they don't have a platform to talk or don't get treated anywhere near as good when it comes to complaining. There is a reason why many men in society are still depressed, or why they make up a large amount of incels. Because there is no proper supprot group and society perception still paints the man as the "person who should be tough"

Yep this. It's not exclusively something that women do. I've definitely had guy friends that try and one up me at every turn and would 100% throw something in my face to make themselves look better.

A relationship literally has a huge risk of ending or breaking down if a man cries or loses almost everything he has. The point is that society prevents men from opening up without scrutiny.

Yes, it's good to be able to talk about how you feel. No, every woman is not a scheming evil bitch who will use that to crucify you.

It's not really good to talk about how you feel to most people because people will use your weaknesses against you, or demean you for opening up about your feelings if you're a guy.
