It is one of the only in-game lore hints regarding the logic behind the puzzles to get to the true ending, to be fair.

Yeah I'm never buying anything from Asus after hearing the horror stories about trying to get them to fix anything and being charged with exuberant fees.

They used to be one of the best in the business, too. I've read they ship most of their motherboards without the CPU cover in the box, so that warranty's are immediately impossible. Shady ass shit.

I hate how many guests Mortal Kombat has now. I know why they have guests because they sell, but I hate it. Just breaks the immersion for me.

The kameo system took me out completely. It was so bugged on launch and never, ever (even in this trailer) looks good or smooth. It's such a distracting and integral element.

MK11 had their best combat, just wish they kept that engine and sped it up a bit. I also hate that they removed 98% of zoners, it's my favorite style. Guess I need to be good at rushdown, aerial combat, or teleport characters.

There's no shot, estates also don't distribute or clear out as fast as you'd think. She needs a full ass salary or partner to pull off maintaining and living in that house, in that area, full stop.

If she sold the house on top of her inheritance, /that/ is life changing money and she could pretty much do anything with her life if she isn't senseless and lives within her means.

I did Archaon, he was unbelievably easy and not extremely fun. I never got a good economy going to be able to support more than three armies, two elite and one trashstack. But I completed the long victory in record time, and now I'm contemplating the next. Overall, that was a 6/10

It's a prop table, the guy on it probably had to do a specific crunch or motion to just snap it like a twig. He has a lot of movement when he lands, since he expected to be landed on top of, is my guess.

Bar was cash only. Was uninformed. Was the only one who didn't bring cash, had to hit the ATM for cash. It was broken, charged me for money I didn't receive, bartender thought I was scamming them, friends backed him up instead of me. They got butthurt, paid for my tab, and then pretty much cut me off. That night I got the model # of the ATM, called my bank, they checked it out, got my money back a week or two later.

I was doing pretty bad financially. Not bad enough to not be able to go out and have dinner/drinks with my friend, but no wiggle room. Four friends and myself hung out at a bar and all ran up very respectful, normal tabs. Mine was about $60. I was invited and somehow none of the party knew it was cash only, so my plan to use a card failed spectacularly. Literally everyone but me was carrying cash, but luckily there was an ATM in the bar.

I ran my card alone to withdraw $80. The machine said transaction failed. No big deal, I must have fat-fingered my pin. I run it again and it says transaction failed. I look at my bank account, which has now been hit for $160, and no cash is in my hands.

Bartender didn't believe me, friends didn't believe me, they basically publically shamed me for being broke, I never hung out with any of them again.

I got my money back a week later with the ATM audit came back with a belt error and it had excess cash in it vs the queried deposits.

The bad ones are big guy, big man, etc. Especially from another dude, and especially if you're overweight. It's the only one of the "chiefs, boss, bros, mans, etc" I'd stop and second guess their intentions/mannerisms.

Edit: Also need to check when you're called big brother by anybody.

Any opinions on the series for someone who's never played one?

You get to customize, RP, and fall in love with your army dudes before they're mulched. Decent sense of progression on the campaign with base building, a tech tree, leveling up skill trees on soldiers and managing their gear. The difficulty curve is odd, and it definitely pulls the percentages out of its ass, but it's fun.

Tebow wasn't very talented, Caitlin is a generational athlete. Caitlin actually has a ton of haters and creeps talking about her online that I see. In a way she reminds me of a (trophyless) Tom Brady archetype. Competitive, focused on the game, gets heated with bad teammates, is static with media interviews, has unreal talent.

This is going to sound nuts but I had this same exact issue two years ago making a B550, 5800x, 32GB build for a friend. One stick worked, two didn't, four never did, was tearing my hair out.

The issue was the CPU. Namely, the CPU itself was pulled out of the socket (sadly extremely common for AM4) by the cooler and was making partial/incorrect contact and thus died in the crib whenever the DRAM bus was over one stick.

I took the cooler off, replaced the paste, seated it again and very gently screwed one rotation per screw at a time until it was seated. Let it sit level for about 10m, propped it back up on its base, and was good to go.

Edit: So try to take the CPU cooler off and reinstall it. If the CPU is stuck to the bottom of the damn thing, you've replicated my white whale problem.

Other funny methods to check:

1: Are all the motherboard grounding screws in w/ washers?
2: Do you have a mechanical drive whatsoever? HDD/ SHDD? Them dying can lead to this problem.

Final Edit: You're completely wrong about mixing sticks, bud. Make sure your XMP profile is synced up so that both are receiving the (weaker) sticks timings, and if either of them run at different voltages I'd remove the one immediately. If one is 24-24-24-13 and one is 20-20-20-10, and one is 1.4v and one is 1.5v, and one is 3200 and one is 2600, you're going to run into so many problems.

Are you looking into a balance transfer to manage your debt? If so, just skip to the end of the line and get a consolidation loan. Banks are handing them out like candy RN but it won't last forever due to the state of things.

My complaint is a hot take but all sandboxes are boring and the same, especially with the homogenized engines people use these days. Dynamic NPC schedules, faction wars, territory stuff, and any other player agency in a dynamic "world" is long, long gone. The Sony/Ubisoft model of checking off boxes and exploring static biomes with fixed enemy spawns is like pulling teeth for me gaming wise. I love linear, short, easy to knock out titles. Been having a blast with Senua 2, Alan Wake 2, and the Resident Evil remakes as an example. I put like six hours into Elden Ring and just went back to playing Dark Souls 3.

Turning off Telemetry in W11 isn't even really turning it off. Even if you can silence the new AI, I doubt it stops it from accomplishing it's system-root goals of snooping out your data.

I switched to Linux two years ago and haven't looked back once. Absolutely bugnuts what Windows is like these days, and sadly, the casual end-user dgaf.

Prometheus had a pretty damn cool OG script and the way they watered it down was crazy

Ridley Scott saying he's getting old and on with life, and wanting to wrap up his Alien canon with some awesome but bugnuts lore was something I was 200% on board with. The prometheus rewrites are abysmal, and he didn't even have the balls to stand by his thrice-rewritten story in the sequel he directed.

In short he chickened out twice and instead made two hazy, inconclusive, garbage movies because he couldn't commit to his vision.

The DLC put that to rest, without spoilers, and Capcom has been distancing from Ethan & Family.

I remember his new English VA being ecstatic on twitter and saying he got a huge contract to voice Leon for a good amount of time. Makes sense he'd be attached to the series for another game or two.

I wish it was me, but the story applies to both my parents. Two times each.

They allowed themselves to get ripped off four times in a row across my life with trade-ins for really crappy, meme cars (they're contrarians, and no nothing about cars) so they actually bought the Aztec, a Saturn, a PT Cruiser...

Anyway, to get to the point, I know by seeing the paperwork many years later that they only got a few thousand /max/ for trading in four perfectly acceptable vehicles over the years instead of giving a single one to their kids. Myself and all my siblings struggled to buy our first cars as teenagers with zero help, meanwhile my parents are trading in 3-4 year old Toyotas at the time for $900 towards some new meme car they wanted.

I remember one time my sister crying that she'd hand my dad $1200 on the spot when they were talking about buying a PT Cruiser, and were talking at the dinner table about how amazing trading in the car (second at this point) was going to be. They'd barely need to pay anything towards the PT Cruiser, and they'd make $1200 cash back! No amount of logic could explain to them that the $1200 was the /only/ thing they were getting on the trade ins, and being ripped off every time.
