I believe the original idea of Libertarianism is the idea that any governance that limits freedom of people is inherently not good. There were debates as to how much governance was needed to ensure people aren't fucked with, but that was it.

Some others came around to argue the concept of what freedom actually is (not getting fucked with by anyone versus the ability to actually do what you want) and that splintered Libertarianism into all sorts of offshoots.

Most Libertarians today basically want small government because they lucked into massive wealth and don't want a system of governance that takes their money and thus interferes with their whole "Don't fuck with my stuff" mentality.

I don't know many wealthy people, but I do know some Libertarians and none of them are wealthy. They are largely people who reject the reality of human nature and advocate for a lot of positions that basically equate "If you get rid of this then people would be free to do X thing they have no reason to do." It's like trickle down economics "Give all our money to the rich and they will do the right thing with it!" but all they do is save the money or send it over seas because cutting taxes does nothing to encourage them to say pay for an extra cashier they don't need. Libertarianism is like that but more extreme and on basically every aspect of government.

This is literally how it's supposed to work. You are supposed to represent your constituents and if you take actions they fundamentally disagree with you should get voted out.

I really like the exp share since it makes it reasonable to raise a whole team. It's obviously too powerful in every game even if it has never been as bad as it was in x & y. It's sad because it should have been the best thing since the physical special split.
