So it's just Rising of the Shield Hero again from the sounds of it. Isekai is such a fucking blighted genre, almost totally bankrupt of any interesting or novel concepts. Maybe its my lack of experience with the genrebut I find it funny when you mention the lack of originality in said genre with respect to a theme I dont recall having seen in the genre yet (speaking for myself). I think a good old fashioned fuck you revenge story would be neat here instead of the usual fish out of water becomes a paragon of virtue and heroics. --- Hmm... |
