An actual difficulty mode would be nice, but not something I would rake the company over the coals for, demanding it constantly. Not sure the time and effort into making it would increase the sales to even break even. Things they could do is have a smarter enemy AI that knows resistances and weaknesses, or if discovered in battle, take advantage of it. Not just stat increases, but team composition increases and diverse move pools.
