Who could have foreseen going down the RetroAchievements rabbit hole would slow me down in any fashion >_> After I talked about not wanting to play NES for a while (lol me) I went and got all the achievements for Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr. Then I decided to play some Popeye which was the other Famicom launch game but is not on NSO lol Guess I could see myself on a NES kick now. Im cool with playing Ghosts n Goblins soon. I had been considering Metroid or Legend of Zelda too. --- I need to update my signature. |

I need to get back in a groove on this. Or should I say, in a groove at all. I started Super Mario 64 last night just to play something familiar and fun. Well, it wouldnt be fun for you ctes since you dont like SM64 much =P I might go the hobo route and stick to some N64 games at the moment. Ive played and beaten plenty of NES games but they are sometimes challenging in a way that is de-motivating me right now. I also have limited time to play so dying and losing my progress near a games end also kinda sucks, which I ran into with Sonic 1. I dont mind practicing and dying until I win but.. it kinda stinks playing for a couple days and not having anything to show for it --- I need to update my signature. |

Being impatient as hell for my first handheld I got a GBC despite my parents strongly urging me to wait. I got Mario Tennis and played the crap out of that game. Loved it. My parents were surprised how content I was without a GBA, which I ended up getting for my birthday the following year. Good game.
