dell and hp use really stupid proprietary power supplies that can't really be upgraded since the motherboard is what does power delivery to the components, so good luck getting a better gpu in there while the power supply can't power it because it doesn't have a second pci-e 8 pin, and one you buy off the shelf doesn't have the stupid motherboard connection they use

not that i'm saying you'd get an hp or a dell, but those two are typically the most commonly bought prebuilts

i think i got to where i could finally move around and I walked a few feet to transition to a new area needlessly and i quit the game during that stupid long loading screen.

4 is the best because it's simple and straightforward. it's sprite based with sort of low res 3d things, but it does everything fast, so what loading screens there are you tend to not notice.

with 5 they went 3d and the game takes forever to do literally everything because the performance is so fucking bullshit

supposedly it's a little better on the PC port, but i won't even bother pirating it to see, the switch version just actually offended me deeply to my core

(the new connector was 3-pins less wide IIRC). I tried putting it on all the way to the right and that did nothing, but it did turn on with it on all the way to the left. not sure if the speakers work though since I think they are mostly on the pins that didn't get connected. there is also a 2-pin red cable that I skipped and have no idea where it would go.

bears are predictable, their routines have been thoroughly documented multiple times, and it's a known quantity. if a bear is going to attack you, there are reasons for it. you either have food, you scared it, or you're too close to its dwelling and it has cubs.

humans are not. you could meet the most innocuous person, both go your separate ways and you wouldn't even know they were stalking you planning on doing something to you because you just happened to be there and there's no one around to see anything happen.

bears don't do that. they're very straightforward animals.

a bear is going to leave you alone unless you spook it. when hiking in bear country or camping or just being there, the one thing you're supposed to do is make noise. they even make noise making accessories specifically so you just make constant noise which lets any bears in the area know you are there.

this doesn't attract them, it's not food, but it lets them know where you are, and gives them warning if they're sleeping or hanging out so you don't spook them.

bears tend to stay away from people, food being the exception, but they don't want to see you just as much as you wouldn't want to actually see a bear.

meanwhile, it is a known quantity that people will act different if they think there is no one else around that could see anything.

men, women, others, all should choose the bear over a man.

I don't use a case or a screen protector but I consider smart phones as a 4-5 year electronic consumable+ I have the cash to just buy a new one if I break it.

yeah i'm not the best to ask here, the only thing in the house that has a screen protector on it is my sons switch

i don't like the bulkyness added by a phone case, nor do i like the screen not being flush with the frame of the phone, they just annoy me even though it's really nothing when your finger slides over the edge of one, but it annoys me and that's all that matters so i don't bother. it's not usually the screen that breaks on me, anyways.

for instance, my last phone broke after a fall, but what broke was one of the simcard pins inside the fucking phone.

hairline scratches like you're seeing don't bother me too much either. it's gonna happen regardless, and they aren't typically going to actually effect readability. if they were hella bad, like to the point where you could feel them just casually dragging your thumb across, then i'd consider getting a new phone but i don't think that's ever happened with any phone i've ever had tbh

btw phone scams can also spoof numbers, a tactic they use is to spoof numbers from the same area code, often you'll even get a spam call from your own phone number.
