not unless i was sitting in the drivers seat with hands on the wheel to override when needed, and even then i wouldn't feel safe. this tech isn't viable yet and honestly wont be viable until every car on the road is driverless and no pedestrians can impede traffic.

Have you actually ridden in a Waymo yet? How can you claim they're "not viable" when they've become common place here in the Bay Area?

To be pedantic, "penultimate" doesn't mean the best, it means the next-to-ultimate/final. The "penultimate event" is the second-to-last event, the "penultimate weapon in the game" is the second-best weapon in the game (or the second-last one you get), etc.
