If there's a mistrial because of a Trumpist juror, I really hope the prosecution is stubborn enough to try the case to a new jury.

Trump having to go through the whole trial a second time would be a worse punishment for him than any likely sentence in this case.

Most likely they'll go "Eh, we tried" and shrug. Besides, the next one would just have another Trumper on the jury. It's like when the mob did it, but in this case, it's like if half the country loved and were devoted to the mafia.

Exactly. This whole thing had mistrial written all over it from day one. Lots of people are going to be dissapointed when they really shouldn't be at this point.

Just change the name of the country to The United States of AIPAC already.

He finally got the new valve/pipe/whatever hooked up after 8 hours so there's running water, but he's not finished. Says he has to come back and hook up the garden hose valve and fill in the hole. So no bill yet. :\

Sounds about right. There are good plumbers out there, but the ratio is pretty skewed. They're also can be a nightmare to work around when you're an electrician or carpenter. So many times we've had to either wait on them or redo a wire that they cut.

My writing in general is chicken scratch. No matter how much I try, I can't improve. It looks like a 5 year old's writing. Both my parents have/had great handwriting, but I inherited my grandma's, who has even worse writing than me.

While they're not the main perpetrators, Democrats being rather weak towards Republicans is part of the problem.

Stone Cold was better in ring and on the mic. Austin was especially good in his Stunning Steve days. He masterfully transitioned into more of a brawler after his neck injury, which fit his character anyway.

Rock could be excellent on the mic, but sometimes he was a bit too much to where he was almost downright corny.

TLJ killed my interest in SW, but sometimes I feel some people take the hatred too far. On the other side, you have people who like TLJ, which is fine, but talk down to people who don't like they're stupid and treat them all like they're neckbeards who hate everything.

I'm not a baseball fan so I don't know the history and such, but from what I hear it's nuts that the MLB let him pull all of this crap. We're the threats of lawsuits really that bad enough to force them to keep this guy?

I never cared for it in any of the games. In Morrowind it's not too bad. Yeah it's a video game, but it's still over designed and edgy.

Conservatives are hypocrites and they embrace their hypocrisy. There's no point in trying to understand them. They can believe in multiple contradictory beliefs at the same time and switch between them depending on what's more convenient at the time.

TFA was a bit disappointing being a soft reboot, but I was still interested in where the story would go. TLJ pretty much killed my interest in SW. Didn't even bother with ROS.

Like 98% of the time cops get off. They're either not charged at all or the grand juries clear them.

I just don't get how some can't see the potential abuse these sort of laws have. Especially since Republicans can and will use it to persecute LGBT+ people. So many people will be outed or worse.

Texas passing something like that took down Hub without a VPN. But most sites dont seem to have been affected at all. I certainly havent had to verify anything.

Same here in MS. A couple of sites don't work, but there are alternatives. Plus VPNs. Still, those in government will eventually make sure the alternatives and VPNs won't work anymore.

It's funny how divided the fanbase got over TLJ, but then pretty much united over ROS being crap.

I played one of those games and would get pissed at the RNG. Several times during a 99% chance to make a shot, I'd get that 1%. Seemed like once you started getting into a groove the game would throw in harder enemies at you. You end up being way under powered.

This meme has to be dead at this point, right? I'm too old to understand it, but I'm still young enough to cringe at the non-internet world using it.
