I had a bad experience with magic maze. I think it was the no communication aside from the slammer and the timer aspect. I didn't know the guy but he seemed neurodiverse and he was getting frustrated which then frustrated the others. Not really anyone's fault. Maybe a case of the organizer not really feeling things out.

Wrestling can be useful but its hard to win a fight on wrestling alone. Unless you just play to take them down and lay on them on your way to a decision win. Ala Josh koscheck. I always recommend to newbies to do 1 grappling and 1 striking and its usually bjj / muay thai. Coming from a wrestler.
