To be able to do it competently, a few weeks at most. To be able to match my performance, a lot longer; it's really the kind of thing you get really good at through experience.

Not really, no. I dont like being intentionally hurtful or intimidating, so it isnt like Ill try to upset others. But I frequently say things in a matter-of-fact manner that I realize afterward is horribly offensive. I generally dont agree with emotions driving beliefs or morality, which tends to go against human nature. So on topics of crime, death, and religion I generally will offend because my mouth pops off before conscious thought.
