I always thought these cakes had a weird texture. Flavor was fine, seems like an acquired taste though.the coconut in the frosting would be the only thing that's really different texture-wise from most cakes. oh but i forgot to mention, i did the thing with the boxed chocolate cake mix where you add a box of pudding mix and sour cream and mini chocolate chips to it to make it extra moist and dense and chocolately. i leveled the two rounds and me and my folks ate the cuttings just by themselves, and even with no frosting or anything it was really fucking good. definitely tasted puddingy. --- It don't matter.
