Balatro is an addictive ass game. Roguelike deckbuilder. It's like what you get if you mix Hades or something with video poker.

I FINALLY beat Gold Stake last night with a crazy set of jokers with the red deck. I got Copy Joker + Burning Joker and used them to level the Pair hand two times every round.

Then I got the virtual/neon joker that gains x mult whenever I add a card to the deck. I was able to get a hand worth 2 million points by ante 8 of that run.

Fun shit. I don't know if I'll do Gold Stake with every deck, but I want to do white stake now with all the decks I haven't tried yet.

Some people don't seem to understand:

There are only two possible outcomes - Biden is president or Trump is president.

You can vote for one or the other.
Voting third party? It will still be one of these two.
Not voting at all? It will still be one of these two.

You can choose to move the needle left or right. Any other decision is equivalent for letting other people decide for you. But it WILL be one of these two - and all the things that come out from that.

No matter how much you hate Biden, Trump is worse. On Israel? EVEN WORSE. You think Biden is "Genocide Joe"? FUCKING LOL. And what do you think happens in Gaza with Trump as President?

There is not a single metric, dimension, topic, or opinion held in which Trump is superior to Biden. NOT FUCKING ONE.

No matter how much you hate or think Biden is bad, Trump is an order of magnitude worse. I wish things were different, but this is the hand we are dealt and this is the decision we have to make.

IF we get through this and Trump loses, I'm confident in 2028 we won't see Biden or Trump anymore at all, and will have a whole new set of options.

If Trump wins - all bets are off. I'm not confident something would prevent more elections from even happening.

I'm voting against Trump. I hope YOU vote against Trump.

But if Americans end up picking Trump, then we all get what's coming I guess.

I'll personally probably be ok, but I know some people won't.

I'll do my part, but we - collectively - deserve whatever comes to us if we can't flush this turd.

The fact that a Steam Deck can EMULATE the Switch and run its games better than the Switch hardware itself is kind of hilarious.

Like bro - the Switch HW isn't just "behind", it feels like it is two full generations behind where things could be. Nintendo needed a new generation of Hardware released like 2 years ago - but I guess people keep buying them non-stop so what do I know.

It's even visible in their 1st party titles - like jesus. CLEARLY these games are being held back by the hardware. Paper Mario, Zelda, Xenoblade, all of it. If you can't do 60fps at 1080p in 2024 I don't know wtf you're doing man. There's tablets that play Call of Duty better than the Switch.
