Yes, Yes I was. Sorry about that. It was between her and Ms. Marvel at the end & I thought Ms. Marvel would be more likely to have a chance than Omega Sentinel, since she's a main character and often saved by someone else. I felt there was at least one other name I usually tried to get after all my favorites & bigger names were taken care of, but couldn't remember who and lost track of things. Thanks! - And a very delayed response from three topics ago: Mega_Mana posted... Well... that's actually a good summation of his 90s Generation X character. IIRC, he was previewed as a member of Generation X before it came out, was seen on the beach in either first or second issue, and wasn't seen or heard again for like two years. And when he xame back, That is neat and I am glad you took time to explain. I meant to reply sooner, I just didn't want to bump an old topic & didn't want to bring an old conversation into a new topic while a round was going on and it's been difficult to get to where "point where I have time to go back and quote an old message" & "a new topic hasn't started yet" were both true. Paratroopa1 posted... they're all the same after the beginning That's fair and I didn't realize how short of an intro "Moonrise Rapture" was at the time. I was just both busy and a bit burnt out that day; between six VGMC songs & two to three hours at my music topic each day, the thought of trying to squeeze in three more songs was a bit much. It's honestly taken this long for me to be in the mood to listen to anything "extra", so an honest 'I appreciate being asked, but I can't right now' was the best I could offer. Having finally listened, I do stand by my predicted reaction of "okay with anything and would prefer the other's opinions to be the only ones that matter". I do like Moonrise Rapture, but it feels more synth-heavy and sets up some odd expectations for what the song will be that just never happen ; and the alternate intro sounds just different enough that I need some time to adjust to it, but I certainly could adjust & really I only supported the song for the sax which goes untouched in every version. So... uhh... "no strong opinion, but I appreciate the effort in the uploads and being asked?" --- Currently in the mood to have a signature, though unsure of what. |
